Ghost Of You

Chapter One :
It was inevitable. All the choices. All the mistakes that were made. All of it. Even knowing this he still felt the sting. It was a sharp acidic feeling that wormed it's way into his superior being and forced him to be what he wasn't: HUMAN.
How pathetic, how low and insignificant these horrible human emotions were. And he had to get the worst of them all. It was this stupid ball of dirt's fault. If he hadn't came here, hadn't been tricked…he wouldn't have this sickening feeling tying his insides together and pulling them apart.
Zim slammed his fists onto the arms of his chair. '" Damn you!" He cursed loudly. There was no one there to hear it though. Completely empty his base was these days. The absence of his sworn enemy being the reason. It even affected him to the point he took apart anything that was in his way, including Gir.
His S.I.R unit was completely useless anyways. It was only a matter of time that Gir would have been destroyed. But now Zim had no one. Not even his Tallest. Not like they would have cared anyways, he had found out the truth when Earth years begun to pass him by. Zim again slammed his fists down. No. He will not ACCEPT this truth.
The truth being : Heart aching Loneliness…
He stood up. Each finger on his hands curled tightly into a ball and he walked towards the body that was laying on the floor. It had been there since yesterday…since what he did. It wasn't bloody. The things he did to this corpse while it was still alive didn't need all that red. All Zim had done was…wrap his fingers around it's slender and fragile neck….and choke out everything-
Zim sharply screamed and kicked a random torn mechanical limb. The hit of his boot had sent it flying into more mechanical parts and causing a loud crash. "EVEN THROUGH DEATH ZIM HAS TO REMEMBER YOU! YOU WRENCHED DIRT CHILD!" He kicked again but this time his boot had kicked the corpse. The corpse's head turned at the strike and it was now looking directly at him. Zim looked away.
The Irken couldn't see it's eyes, didn't want to see those cracked glasses reflect his face. Not when all he saw in the dead human's orbs was death. Zim should have been happy that the annoying stink beast was gone. He could now take over this planet much more easily now. No stupid big headed boy to stop his plans, no more fighting. He should have been happy.
So why was Zim not happy? Why couldn't he look down at his enemy's face and smile with such malice like he use too?
" I'll fix this Dib-stink….I'll bring you back…" The words breathed into the air. "I'.."
