Disclaimer: I do not own Dead Poet's Society.
Every time I look at Charlie Dalton, I fall more in love with him; even though I'm not supposed to. I sit across from his at breakfast, trying hard to stop my mouth from dropping open at his gorgeousness and letting the orange juice dribble out since it happened once already. I can't help but not casually glance at him when we're in the showers and hope he doesn't catch me and call me a fag and I can't help but feel jealous when he retreats to his room at the end of the night; the room he shares with Cameron, not me.
I love everything about Charlie Dalton. I love the way his lips curl into his signature smirk and how it only adds to his arrogance; his overconfidence; his pompousness that I'm supposed to hate but only adds to my love for him. I love the way he gels his hair into a perfect coif for when we go out (which is the only reason I like to go out.) I love how he paints that lightning bolt on his chest and rips his shirt open even in public while calling himself Nuwanda. I wish I could be that crazy; that silly. Even the way he plays his saxophone and recites poetry in the cave... I love. The sad thing is that Charlie Dalton probably doesn't love anything about me.
I also love the way he makes fun of me. I say something like "I'll try anything once" and he says "Except sex." Or when he tells me my glasses make me look just like Buddy Holly except I can't sing nearly as good as he can. I love when he asks me for help with homework and studying because he knows that I'm smarter than everyone else. I especially love when he ruffles my hair and calls me Meeksie.
If only Charlie Dalton knew how I felt about him. Wait, I take that back, he should never know because he would never think of me like that. No one as beautiful and amazing as Charlie Dalton could love someone like me; I'm just boring old Steven Meeks.

The small piece of light gray lined paper fluttered gracefully to the ground and settled on the cherry wood floors. A pair of shining dress shoes ran out, pounding the wood leaving a breeze that swept the paper up again.
A.N. This is my first DPS story so please review! I hope the ending is clear but if it wasn't, feel free to ask! Also, I love the Cheeks pairing and I hope I did them justice and I hope you enjoyed.
