Summary: Based on a Tumblr prompt. A little bit of Tom/Lexi cuteness for y'all. ONESHOT

A.N: This prompt worked well during the Series 1 episode "Friend or Foe", when Lexi was human for the first time, so I rolled with it. DISCLAIMER, of course, I own nothing.

Prompt from Tumblr: Imagine Person A teaching Person B of your OTP how to kiss, and Person B ends up kissing Person A really quick, nervously asks "Like that?" and leaves Person A silent and flustered for the moment.

"What does your father do?"

"He's a vet."

"A former soldier?" Lexi asked, looking confused.

"No!" Tom chuckled at the thought of it. "Vet. As in, making poorly pets better."

"Oh," Lexi said, pulling a face when Tom's back was turned.

"What about your dad?" Tom asked, trying to sound casual, and not as interested in Lucy as he really was. "Does he play football too?"

"My father...isn't very mobile these days," Lexi said slowly. "Needs a lot of attention. But, I'm really very...devoted to him."

"What sort of things do you do with him?"

"We, err..." Lexi searched her brain for something. "...read together."

"Oh, yeah...Me too," Tom said, trying to sound like he was telling the truth. "Reading. Yeah. Fun." He noticed her smirking, in spite of herself, clearly not convinced. "I look like an idiot, don't I?"

"Yes." Tom laughed, unfazed; Lexi's own chuckle escaped too. For some strange reason, she was starting to enjoy her conversation with the halfling Wizard. Once you spoke to him...he really wasn't so bad -

She snapped herself out of that train of thought, as they continued walking.

"So," she began, thinking of suitable topics for human conversation. "What do you like to do? Aside from football?"

Tom shrugged. "Normal things, I guess. Seeing my friends. Spending time with my family. That sort of thing. What about you?"

"Reading." It was a half-truth of some sort. "I look at books and research a lot. And I'm interested in different cultures."

"Oh. Nice." Tom looked surprised. "...Clever and beautiful."

Her eyebrow went up. "Excuse me?"

Tom looked confused for a second, and then groaned. "I said that out loud, didn't I?"

"Maybe..."

Tom gave an awkward laugh, tactfully changing the subject. "I, err, think I need to teach Benny how to get a girlfriend."

"Why is that?"

"Because he's never had a date in his life." Tom shook his head a little. Lexi, who had no idea what a "date" was, frowned.

"How are you going to "teach" him?"

"I don't know. First, I'd have to find him a nice girl, who would kiss him."

"Kiss?"

"Yeah." Tom looked at her oddly. "You...do know what kissing is, right?"

"Um...yes?"

"Hasn't anyone ever kissed you before?"

"No."

"Wow," Tom mumbled to himself, before speaking at normal volume. "It's what two people do who like each other. It's used to show them that they like the other person."

"Oh...is that all? What do you do?" Lexi looked interested.

"You...sort of...touch lips. It's meant to be romantic -"

He was cut off by Lexi, who had suddenly stopped in the middle of the pavement. Before he could open his mouth to speak, Lexi bent own and kissed him on the lips. She pulled away, two seconds later, slightly pinker than before.

"Like that?" She asked. Tom said nothing in reply, only stared at her in silence, mouth open slightly. She coughed, and quickened her pace. "Is your house much further?"
