A/N: This was just something I wrote in between classes. Hope you enjoy!
Disclaimer: Don't own them. Pity.
You're in the shower and as the water rolls over your back and you close your eyes, you try and shake the strong feeling of déjà vu that has overtaken you. You try to pretend that the loss of your father doesn't bother you. You try to forget that it feels like you've lost him before.
You try, but you fail. You don't have what it takes to forget.
You grab a bar of soap and begin to scrub hard, desperately trying to cleanse yourself of everything (even if you aren't sure of what that all entails), and then you see it, and the bar of soap falls from your hand. The heavy thud reverberates like an echo as you are transported to another time. A long jagged scar mars your back, one that you've never seen in your life. You finger it and are met with a vision of a young woman with long curly hair. She walks out of the trees and into your life and this might not be real, but you suddenly wish it was.
It's only later that you remember her from the plane. You watched her retreating back and had wondered why her touch had felt so familiar, so warm. You felt the same hands on your back, so vivid, it felt like yesterday.
Her name was Kate.
Please review! they make my day!
