Wolf's Rain

Paradise Will Appear

They say when the world comes to an end, paradise will appear on the Earth.

Heh, after all that's happened in life, who cares?

With nothing else to live for, what else can one do but try?

Though paradise holds a different meaning for each and every being

It is your own sin that burdens you when you don't even try Or give up along the way.

When it really comes down to it all, what is the general idea of what's within paradise?

Peace and tranquility.

A place where blood is neither thick nor thin, hot or cold.

Where lunar flowers are in full bloom

All year around.

In fact, there is no year, weeks, months. Time is no factor.

Paradise is where souls of the Earth truly rest in peace.

But does one really have to die in order to find paradise?

One would hope not

But it appears to be so.

Nothing in life comes easy, you know.

Nothing requires no effort, something always does.

So, in order to find paradise…

You've got to be willing to risk it all.

You can't have any doubts, or you'll just end up regretting it later.

You have to be able to face your fears.

Be strong enough to hold your own.

Be willing to admit even if wolves are the only ones said to be able to make it to paradise,

You can try.

You have to be able to embrace the humanity within us all, to save any of the all.

Basically, you have to be willing, if nothing else, to chase this goal to the ends of the Earth no matter the situation.

Because that's where it's said to be?

Mostly because the experience may strengthen you, too.

In the end, how would anyone feel if they did or didn't make it all the way?

Well, if you do make it, obviously it's the most amazing feeling in the entire world.

How would one know if that is so?

No one knows

We all just hope.

If one does not make it?

If 'one' can honestly say that nothing ever held them back

That every fiber's energy contributed toward your search the whole entire way

Then it was just fated to be.

Since when does fate have to do with finding paradise? It always sounded as if going for the gold was all that mattered.

Who gives a crap about fate's role?

Of course wolves don't.

Though maybe it would make the trip easier if they did.

I bet they wouldn't even consider it.

The point is fate is what guides a human life.

Wolves, being their own creatures, live how they see fit.

Nothing matters to them more then just being.

Being alive.

Being apart

Of anything and everything.

That's why it is every wolf's, well job to at least try to reach paradise.

More of a responsibility.

Maybe even a dream.

Maybe all humans see it as just a fairytale.

Whatever happens, happens, and wolves accept it.

That is how they're lifestyle ties in with their own fate.

So, in the end, what does paradise really solve?

It solves nothing.

Not because it is nothing,

It is just something.

Something

That gives every living thing hope.

Hope

That should ever the world come to an end,

even if wolves are the only ones said to find it

even if all humanity thinks wolves are horrid and beastly,

paradise will appear on this Earth.

That paradise is a promise.

No comparison or companion.

Paradise is the promise of rebirth

Of all that is good.

To make paradise complete the Earth.

With human and beast alike.
