When The World Treats You Fairly

Prologue Perfect

Mom.. Dad.. Well this is my goodbye. I'm running away from home and there's nothin you guys can do. Rich tycoons and only concerned about money than your only daughter, this is goodbye.

Trotting out the door was the first step when I ran from home. There's a family picture that burned my heart and I didn't care. But the sound of cello hits my eardrums like a pin to the ground. It was faint but I didn't care.

My name is Vinyl.. Just Vinyl. I was born from Gem Heart and Richly Buck. Together they made a tycoon couple who would bring you hell by just looking at them. I was supposed to live the high life but my calling wasn't dresses and dinner dates.

It wasn't formal and it wasn't pratique. I wasn't the flower mare neither. I walked along keeping my head forward horn pointed forward. Never looking away from Fillydelphia, I wandered if there was anything for me out there.

I got a whole lot of living to do. And this was my first steps to just that. Vinyl your names will be in the stars and I wasn't letting my parents tell me either way.

Canterlot, Equestria the other side of town: A filly not yet a mare sat with her cello. She was a poor filly and her mother was dying. She wanted a cello for her birthday and both her parents pitched in for the gift. Her name was Octavia.

She had a cello but no fame to her name. Thoughts that raised through the young filly was famous. "Someday my name will be flashing in lights and then I'll show my parents I can do something right," the filly exclaimed as she picked up her cello and continued to play. As she played tears rolled down her face.

She was ready and no one could stop her. Not today, not tomorrow. No one! She took her bow and placed it into a saddlebag as she placed her cello in the case as the filly left her home and the lights of Canterlot.
