Documenting
I made a Headcannon for this not too long ago and I thought that I'd make it into a full on fic! It's my first proper Sherlolly fic so please tell me if you like it or it I need to improve!
"Get that blasted camera out of my face, John!" Sherlock growled, pushing the recording device away from his face and causing John on the other side of it to chuckle, "Oh come on! I'm documenting! People in future will want evidence that the robotic Sherlock Holmes, who claims to only be married to his work, is going on a date! With Molly Hooper of all people!"
He moves the camera so it's now facing Molly who was blushing very heavily and trying to busy herself with eating the chippy they'd gotten.
"I'm sorry he insisted," Mary apologised in a whisper as she sat beside her friend, giving her an apologetic smile as she did so.
"This is the last time I will ever take you to one of my dates, John!" Sherlock hissed, causing another laugh to erupt from his best friend.
"Come on! It's for your future children!" John teased, shoving the camera further into Sherlock's face.
Molly fidgeted as the whole thing went on, feeling very uncomfortable about the two men bickering across from them. She felt as if they were taking this date as if it was a joke and she had began to grow upset. "I need some air.." She stated simply before leaving the shop, three heads and a video camera watching her as she did so.
"See what you've done now!" Sherlock growled, getting up and going to follow her.
Sherlock found her outside the fish and chip shop, hands wrapped around herself as the harsh winds froze her. He took off his own jacket, that he hadn't taken off for the duration of their date, and delicately placed it over her shoulders, causing her to smile softly.
"Sorry for walking out, I get a little camera shy," she murmured quietly, wrapping the coat around her tightly, a smile escaping the detective as she did so.
She looked adorable in his coat.
"It's fine. And John says I need to learn manners." He joked, looking down at her as she giggled softly in response. They both stood in comfortable silence for a while, small smiles on each of their faces.
"Maybe we should go back inside.." Molly suggested, looking up at him to which he looked back down at her.
"Yes, John and Mary will be wondering where we are.." He murmured, his eyes not leaving hers.
Before either could say anything Sherlock leaned in and captured her lips in a short but satisfying kiss, his lips only leaving Molly's when he heard sniggering behind them.
"Oh Anderson is going to love this," John murmured, facing the camera towards the two of them.
"John!"
