Excerpt from the 'Daily Prophet', 1995, September 3.
Pure blood breeds True!
Yes my dear readers, those of you who understand the terminology i used, i can ascertain you, it is true!
For those of you who do not understand :
An offspring from a union of a Pureblood with a Muggleborn, half-breed or half-blood has the same blood as a "full" Pureblood!
This is certainly heavy news for the majority of my favourite readers, and your esteemed reporter went to utmost length to discover everything that there is.
In a rare show of collaboration, an assembly of Masters and Professors of their respective branch of Magic worked together to uncover the truth behind the difference of Pureblood, and those of "un-pure" unions.
If you take a look on the hyper-zoomed pictures taken of blood samples of the different samples (see: Page 3) you will discover that there are indeed NO differences!
But i would not be the most liked reporter if i would just take the word of someone for the truth would i?
Potion's Master Snape, together with Master Healer Dogbar from St. Mungo's & Muggle-Studies Professor Burbage from Hogwarts took an oath of truth to ensure me that the results were un-tampered.
This means that every union of a Pureblood with a "non-Pureblood" results in a Pureblood offspring!
'Breeding true' is the terminology used in Magizoology, Biology and Health & Care to describe if traits of offspring get passed on.
As there are no differences between the blood of a Pureblood offspring and those of non-Pureblood unions - this means that the trait
"pure blood" gets passed on whatsoever independent of the Partner!
This reporter begs those who actively prejudiced against those of "lesser" blood to take a look of every offspring of unions they
looked down on.
The ministry should therefore take a look of differences when handling this. Advantages & disadvantages that we build up in the decades, yes centuries, must change as of these newest turn of events!
"I had no idea that the differences we based our prejudice upon, especially in the House i heed, where completely unfounded"
- S. Snape, Head of Slytherin.
I call upon you all, my esteemed readers, to look beyond, if you are one of those who hold their "blood status" against others, as you should thoroughly investigate if the one in question falls indeed upon your scrutinizing.
You could say that in a way its the magic that breeds true.
Rita Skeeter is thrilled to tell her readers that same applies to unions between beings without any Pureblood parents.
The Ramifications are definitely worldchanging for your beloved magical Britain, but as always, we will prevail and emerge stronger than ever before.
