Inuyasha and Rise of the Guardians crossover – Believe in Magic

Disclaimer: I am just a poor author who loves to write and owns none of the characters mentioned in the story. Except the plot I own that… thankfully!

Summary: sometimes when it comes to finding your place in the world, the only thing you can do is just believe in magic!

Smiling I watched as my younger bother Souta as he started a snow ball war, flying snowballs raining down, their origins coming from every which direction. Running behind the nearest snow mound, I compacted as much snow as I could gather into a ball, smiling I launched it away screaming "Bombs away!".

In all actuality it has been three years since me falling down the well in my families shrine. The closer the Final Battle came the less I was allowed to see my family, the happily ever after I had thought we had all would gain was just a dream.

Sango and Miroku had died in each others arms, being impaled by Kagura's Dance of Blades attack. Kirara and Shippo had survived, thankfully, being hidden in an underground cavern our group had created. Naraku had perished from a surprise attack , a combined effort of both Sesshomaru, Inuyasha, and I. Afterwards Inuyasha decided to finally go to hell with Kikyo, not even giving me a glance back at me or anyone else.

Afterwards the jewel returned to my body, sending me back to my own era on my fifteenth birthday. The only proof of my adventures were the scars on my body and the name that had appeared in the legendary Battle of the Shikon, which had not been there previously and my now forever faithful companion Kirara, a nekomatta youkai.

When I had found out that I had traveled back to the day of my fifteenth birthday and that all of my traveling had never happened and more likely never would I found myself in a great depression. I still am actually. This is my last day in Japan, my mother is sending me to a friend of hers that lives somewhere in the United States. All I know is that she has a son named Jamie and that I will have to learn English pretty quick because they don't speak Japanese.

Anyways, watching as my snowball hit a friend of my younger brothers I suddenly felt very accomplished, for that kid Yoko is actually quite rude. "Kagome!" my mother called, "Your plane leaves in two hours! Are you finished packing?" "Yes, Mother," I replied. "I finished this morning! My bags are already in your car. I'm just having fun with Souta before we leave to the airport!"

Watching my mother usher Souta and his friends inside the house, I made my way to the car. Waiting in the passenger seat as my mother made her way to the drivers seat and onto the street.

Finally making it out of the airport, the young woman formerly known as Kagome, hastily made her way to the luggage center. Waiting for about ten minutes she grabbed her luggage and made her way towards the waiting center. Looking around she found a nice looking family with a sign that said 'Welcome Kagome'. Walking over towards them she said "Ah, hello, I am Kagome Higurashi. It's a pleasure to meet you."
