I stared blankly ahead, watching the scene that fell into place before me. It wasn't like I was purposely watching, I merely was just walking downstairs to the main floor of the inn when I saw that pair.

The scene before me seemed innocent, sweet even. It was winter and it looked as though tons of mistletoe plagued doorways and arches. So it wasn't a surprise to see two people standing under the doorway, kissing.

Except for the fact that it was Jason; standing under it with another certain pink-haired girl.

I felt my heart sink. I wasn't sure why it bothered me so much. But I felt frozen. His eyes opened during his kiss and stared straight at me, like his eyes were boring into my very soul (if I even had one, in his eyes). I felt my breath hitch in my throat. I instantly turned and ran to my room, knowing that I've been forgotten.
