I tried to keep up the pace with the two other girls, "Ro! Keep up!" I heard the green-haired girl exclaim. "I'm… trying…" I could hear Ella giggling as she kept up with Mimi. I seemed to always be in the middle of the hi-jinx with these two. But that was unintentional on my part, really.

I caught up with the pair soon, and I was completely out of breath. My hands were on my knees as I gasped for breath; I felt Mimi pat my back… rather hard. "Rowan, you're too outta shape!" I actually contemplated this even through the sounds of Mimi's shutter. She really did take pictures of everything. I felt Ella's reassuring pat this time.

All that running was just to get to the beach faster. Really, Mimi could act very childish at times. But rather than this annoying me, I found it rather refreshing. Though, as I thought more on it, it was unfair to say that I was 'so out of shape' when I was practically carrying everything! I picked up the towels and umbrella that I dropped before and made my way onto the beach.

I was a little wobbly in the sand while I made my way to my best friends. After we placed everything, Mimi decided that it would be "super fun!" to go swimming. She grabbed our hands and dragged the two of us – Ella and I – into the water. "I-It's freezing!" Ella exclaimed from the cold contact. Mimi just laughed. "Yeah, Meems, this water is—" "Never mind all that!" Mimi cut me off. I showed her a face and promptly stuck my tongue out at her.

"Our friendship is like… magic," I heard Mimi state, while we lay out under the sun. Mimi was under the umbrella, snapping photos with Snaps. Ella raised an eyebrow, "Huh?" Mimi smiled grandly, "I mean, I'm so happy when I'm with you guys, Ells, Ro… it's like magic." I had stopped myself while applying sunblock. Ella, for once, appeared like she didn't know what to say. Mimi coughed, looking embarrassed. "Well, I guess—" It was my turn to interrupt her, "Everyday magic," I said, smiling now, "it's like… everyday magic… when we're together."

Judging by the smiles on their faces, they both agreed.
