Authors Note: Yes this is a poem, it is not directly related to Kingdom Hearts but it does relate to the "feelings" of the nobodies in the game series. In my view I would say it relates to Roxas, Axel, Xion, and Namine the most, but you can have your own opinion on that. And this is a free verse poem there fore it does not have to have a rhyme scheme or anything of that sort.
And please if you wish to publish this poem somewhere else let me know by messaging me on here, other wise I will take it down, I do not support plagiarism in any way shape or form so give credit to the author as well, I worked really hard on this so please don't claim that effort for yourself.
"I do not own the Kingdom Hearts series or any of its characters"
Without a Heart
A person with no heart is simply nonexistent
The people around them see right through them
For there is nothing to see in with in them
They are still partially human yet they might as well be the air
For without a heart they cannot care
They may blink away tears,
Attack out of anger,
Laugh at something humorous,
Smile at another person,
Cry out in pain,
Or even show sympathy for another
But this is all an illusion
They don't actually feel what they show
All they want to do is complete their goal
A person with out a heart is a nobody
And even though those with hearts cannot see them
They can see those of their kind
They are trapped in this form for all eternity
Living only half of a human life
All because they feared death
Now this is the price they pay for sacrificing what they now treasure most
They foolishly believed giving up their heart would make them immortal, yet not a ghost
And to that extent they were correct
For nothingness is eternal
But it is an eternity wasted since they don't care about it
They instead focus on the memories of the life they have lost
The life that they loved, and cared for so much
They now instead watch those that pass on to the next world
Silently wishing that they had lived their life with love and waited for death instead
For Death brings peace to those that loved
But for those that didn't, it simply brings nothing
