There was a chill in the air, the golden sky spreading far and wide throughout Japan as horses ran around the dead grass. Flocks of birds headed nowhere above, hovering over the cliffs and grassy plains, chirping echoing through valleys and mountains. The oceans waves crashing along the bottoms of cliffs that cut off so suddenly, and the blossoms of the trees blew in the wind. Flowers droop and wilted away, blood staining their colorful petals, the ground collecting thick crimson liquid, soaking up into the dirt.

As so much as she admired the beautiful display, she found sad memories. Her eyes glossy and lips pressed tightly together, nose bright red as well as her cheeks; she was holding her breath. Her chest tightened and ached with a familiar pain, nose beginning to sting and eyes watered causing her vision to blur and all the colors of the world mixed together, creating a distorted picture in her head. Finally, a puff of breath escaped her chapped lips, hands quickly going to her chest and clutching onto the green fabric she wore. Her shoulders began to shake whilst tears spilled from her sad eyes, choking back on her breathing.

She couldn't handle this pain, this pain she deeply hated. Not anymore. No more, please, she begged. Fingers tightly wrapped around the strands of fallen black hair cries growing louder- It seemed the sky cried with her, with its drizzle of rain hitting her, a way of empathizing the woman. Lips quivering, Fei Fei released her hands from her hair, falling to her knees and keeping her hands glued to her lap. She just wouldn't stop crying. She will never stop crying.

As the golden rays turned grey, and the drizzle turned into pouring, Fei Fei screamed at the top of her lungs into the open fields. The horses galloping away and birds hiding in the trees, thunder boomed in the sky as a response to her sobs. The woman picked up her spear, bringing it down into the ground, the blade sinking into the wet dirt and engulfed it until there was no more. Holding onto it, Fei Fei sobbed more, never seeming to stop to take a breath, "Father," Her voice shaking, taking her hands off of the weapon, "Why did you leave me here?"

There was no point in waiting for an answer; he never spoke back.

Her fingers stroked the shredded orange and blue ribbons on her weapon, tightly squeezing them in the palms of her hands. If she could go back, to when Motonari was alive and well, she would always tell him how much she loved him. How thankful she was to have been taught by him. How she didn't ever want to see him leave; she learned the hard way that she couldn't go back. Fei Fei gritted her teeth, a muffled scream rumbled in her chest as she pulled her spear out, standing to her feet and jammed the blade into a tree that shaded her from the rain. Again and again, she stabbed the bark until pieces crumbled to the ground, yelling something that nobody could make out. Now tired, the spear was thrown aside, and she collapsed again, letting the rain kiss her face, "I'm sorry," Her whispered ghosted over her own lips. "I'm sorry I couldn't go back. I'm sorry brother for leaving you. I'm… Sorry."
