Note; Hey sorry for the bad grammar and this is the 'project' I was talking about at the end of Thief. I hope you enjoy this, it is my first chaptered fanfiction. I do not own FairyTail or any of the characters. And note that none of this happens in the series or at least to my knowledge. Enjoy!

"Father, I refuse."

Running never felt like this, all my nerves tingled with electricity. I wasn't sure if anyone was following but something told me to run as fast as I could, well as fast as

I could while wearing a dress. After turning onto another corridor I took of my shoes and made it to the door. The cool night air burned my lungs and my legs burned

furiously. Dogs could be heard barking in the distance as well as the shouts of men. I needed to hide before they found me if they did I would be trapped again, like a

fly in a spider web. I never knew what the outside world was like, I was constantly copped up in the manor though my mother would tell me stories and news of what

it was like outside that was until she passed away. Tearing myself from thoughts of the past I took the next corner which to my dismay was a dead end. The sound of

the dogs barking came closer and I could see them, their sharp white teeth glistening in the pale moonlight. I tried to climb the wall which caused the dogs to nip at

my ankles tearing my dress, my hands were bloody due to the rough bricks. I misplaced my hand and fell back with a scream. I had cuts everywhere and I could

taste the rusty flavor of blood mixed with dirt. I covered my eyes and ears with my arms and hands, trying to block the horror that was unfolding upon me. Soon it

was quiet the barking and ripping switched to whimpers and there was complete silence. A breeze ruffled my hair as I heard someone clearing their throat. I looked

up to see him, the one person that would change my life forever. He had dull pink hair, what one might call salmon. His eyes were black and filled to the brim with

concern. His outfit was made up of a one sleeved vest, light tan pants that went just past his knees, and sandals completed with a white scarf. I was embarrassed to

have someone see me like this, my hair a mess only a fourth of it was still in the bun; my royal purple dress was torn, caked in blood and dirt with most of the gems

missing.

"Um, are you okay?" He asked as though he was unsure.

I rolled my eyes, "Does it look like it?" He just stared at me and only responded after a moment of silence had passed. "No." The shouting that was once in the

distance now came closer and the mysterious boy pulled me up by the wrist dragging me to the doc. The smell of salt and the sound of crashing waves were

strangely calming as I stumbled behind trying my best to keep up. We soon climbed onto a rather large ship that adorned a black flag with a skull and bones. That's

when I realized that the mystery boy was in fact not a mystery. He was a pirate.

Dun Dun Dunnn! Sorry it was short hopefully I will have another chapter up soon and as said above sorry for the bad grammar
