Mitchie and I are on are way to the Grey's for the summer vacation in Los Angeles. This should be an exciting summer, knowing that I'm getting to stay with my 4 best friends, all summer long. Just thinking about all the parties, late night movies, the beach and the sight of seeing Nate all day, every day for a whole summer just gets me more excited. I have had these feelings for Nate since we were in high school, I just could never find the courage to tell him how I truly felt, but this summer will be different this time I will tell him how I feel.
"Alex." Mitchie leaned over and whispered in my ear.
I looked at her with a confused look on my face, "What?" I whispered back. I had no clue why we were whispering in the first place, I mean no one else is in the car but us. But I remembered it was Mitchie the girl who I have been best friends since Barney, we knew anything and everything about each other, literally. "We're here!" She yelled at me.
I than swerved, causing us to hit the curb, "Mitchie, what the hell!" I yelled. I than stopped the car and realized we were in the middle of the Grey's lawn. I noticed I knocked over their mailbox. I thought to myself "oh god, their going to kill me." I turned off my car and hopped out and try to straighten up the mailbox. "Alex!" I heard a familiar voice yell. Nate than tackled me to the ground and gave me a huge bear hug. I didn't know why, but I didn't want this moment to stop.
"Nate!" I yelled, "I missed you so much!" I smiled as I got up trying to wipe off the grass on my pants. "I missed you too, Allie." He laughed.
I loved it when he called me that, he was the only I ever allowed to call me that. "So, your grand entrance was knocking over our mailbox?" He laughed a little and put his arm around my neck. "Oh great, these feelings are coming back stronger. I feel so special around him I want him to be mine." "Nate!" Mitchie yelled as she ran over to Nate to give him a hug. "Hey nerd." He laughed and gave her a tight hug. She smiled real big, "So where's Shane?"
"He's upstairs in his room probably with some girl." Nick rolled his eyes, as if he was disgusted that his brother was such a player. I give Shane credit, he is super cute and all but he uses his looks to his advantage. Nate on the other hand, cares about the girls he dates. Nate is just something else. He is like my Prince Charming but he doesn't know that yet.
"Come on let's go inside." Nate said as he grabbed my hand to lead me inside. The feeling of his touch made me melt, I felt so secure. "Alex?" He said as he looked deeply into my eyes. "Are you okay?" I snapped back into reality, "Yeah, I'm fine. Let's go inside." I smiled and started walking towards the door.
"Nate, I really love it here." I giggled. "It's so sweet home feeling."
"This will always be your home, No matter what happens"
I blushed I knew he meant what he said, if only I could have the courage to tell him I how I felt about him, I'm just a stupid girl, Nate could do so much better than me.
"Here, let me take you to your bedroom." He smirked as he rushed me up the stairs. I stood in awe; it looked exactly the same as I left it. "Wow, Nate I looks amazing." Nate laughed and gave me a huge hug, "I know, I made sure no one touched it so it would feel more like home for you" He whispered in my ear as I blushed, "Aw, thanks." He always knew the right words to say to me. "Allie?" He looked over to me, "I want you to meet someone." I raised an eyebrow and smarted off "What did you get a girlfriend or something?" Nate looked relived, "Actually yes, meet Miley." I stood there in shock, than my heart sank.
