"Harry? What's wrong with it? It's all… wet and gooey. And not… like whipped cream. What'd we do?" Draco whined, sticking a finger into the mixing bowl. The electric mixer whirred away slowly at the cream, but Draco was impatient. To his chagrin, Harry laughed loudly.

"It isn't done yet Draco, it's only been a few seconds, whipped cream takes time. Let the mixer handle it, everything will turn out fine. Come away, I set the timer already." Harry held out his hand and pulled Draco toward him, but the blonde still looked anxious. They were making angel food cake with whipped cream and strawberries, and the only thing left was to put the cream on top.

Draco stalked back to the mixer and peered inside. "It's so slow! Why is it taking so long?" he stomped harshly on the linoleum. "I want it now!" He pouted like a four-year-old denied chocolate. But suddenly his face lit up, "Let's turn it up!" He peered at the machine and attempted to find the switch.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Harry warned with a smirk from across the kitchen. Draco only huffed and tried harder to press the buttons. He shrieked in triumph and reached for the lever.

"Draco, NO!" Harry yelled as the whirring got louder and a loud PHLOOP sounded. When Harry opened his eyes, the kitchen was covered in white specks and Draco had turned into a white silhouette. He was coughing and spluttering, using his hands in a futile attempt to get the cream out of his eyes. "Harry!" he shrieked, "Why didn't you tell me? I'm all… I'm all… dirty!!" He started to tear up and Harry quelled his giggles at the sad sight.

In two quick strides Harry was across the kitchen and had Draco in his arms. "Oh sweety!" he cried, "It's ok, don't cry. It's just cream." But Draco wouldn't be calmed. "I'm dirty and creamy and now dessert is all…sniffle…ruined!" He started to cry again.

Harry smiled at Draco's way of thinking and used his hand to turn Draco's face to look into his own. "Dessert isn't ruined, just changed." he ran a finger down Draco's cheek before licking it. At Draco's curious glance, Harry smiled even bigger, "Tonight I'm having Draco a la mode."
