The patter of feet through the Malfoy manor echoed, house elves ducked down in the shadows, tediously tidying up.
"Mummy! Mummy! Guess what!"
Draco Malfoy -seven years old and as ignorantly happy as can be- came dashing into his mothers quarters waving a pair of coke-bottle specks. A large grin was placed on his lips, robes fluttering as he ran. Finally, he gripped the smooth fabric of his mother's white dress, grey eyes going large as he slipped the glasses upside down onto his long face. "Mummy look, Luna-Luna gave me these for three sickles!" He cheered.
His mother winced slightly but smiled all the same, patting the bleach blonde head of her son. "Draco, I'd prefer you not hand around with their kind." She remarked, she thought the Lovegood family was rather strange after all. The Malfoy male whimpered slightly and released the fabric of his mothers dress.
"But mummy, she was going to teach me how to read a really cool way!" He exclaimed, excitement once again filling his little voice. His mother merely shook her head.
"Draco please, not now. I'll think about it." She remarked, waving him off.

"Oi, Loony-Luna, what're you up to?" Draco collapsed in a large arm chair next to the blonde, leaning over the arm and into her direct space, silver optics intent on finding answers. Luna merely blinked and peered over at him, brow raising ever so slightly at her new nickname.
"Draco, do you enjoy coming up with these little names for me?" Her voice was all but a whisper, blue eyes batting. Draco snickered slightly and sat back, taking note that she was in fact reading the blasted magazine again. Hell, he wasn't even sure she read a new copy, he thought it was the same edition each time.
"What? It's not like anyone else'll use it Luna." He remarked, nudging her slightly.

"Lu-Lu…." It was a soft whisper in the crisp morning air.
"Lu-Lu give me back the blankets, it's cold."
"Lu-L-!"
The voice was caught off by the rustling of covers and the shifting of weight in the mattress. "Stop whining Draco." Another sleepy voice muttered in response. Blond hair fanned out bellow green blankets, a slender body curled against a pale frame, each dressed in silky night attire.
"Draco…"
Luna Lovegood stirred slightly and set her head on his arm, fingers stroking the long row of buttons going down his chest. "What will your mum say when she finds out?"
For a moment nothing then smirked, rolling over to curl into the woman, arms pulling her into him. "She'll probably have to think about it."
