(A/N: This is really short, but I saw BBHJH last night and just
had to write this!!)
Continuation of "Bye-bye Hillridge Junior High":
(After the shot was taken)
"Lizzie," asked Gordo, "What was that for?"
"Because, you're so sweet and good to me Gordo," she replied.
"You just realized that?" he joked.
"Let's just say it never has hit me as hard as it did today," Lizzie
replied.
"You peeked at your yearbook, right?" he asked.
"Well, sort of...." she said, looking kind of embarrassed.
"It's ok Lizzie, I, uh, just wasn't done yet," he explained.
"Oh? What else were you going to say?" Lizzie questioned him.
"You'll see when I write it down," he smiled at her, knowing she would probably drag it out of him somehow.
"Oh come on Gordo, what else more is there to say?" Lizzie asked.
"Alot," Gordo accidentally said aloud.
"Oh really," Lizzie said slyly, "Like what?"
Before answering, Gordo looked around quickly to see if anyone was
standing nearby. There wasn't. He took a deep breath. "Like," he started "You're beautiful, perfect, the best friend I could ever want or have, special, loving, always there for me, and Lizzie, I, I, I love you."
(Toon Lizzie: "Wow, I never knew he felt this way!!kisses her froggy) She looked down, trying to find the right words to say. Gordo began regretting what he had just said, when Lizzie spoke up. "Wow Gordo, I never knew you felt that way, that is like, so sweet of you!"
"Not quite the answer I was looking for, but still, better than
nothing," he thought.
"And Gordo," she started again, "When I read the entry you wrote, I
thought about all the times you've been there for me. You saved me
from complete embarrassment on Picture Day, you made me feel better about Ronny, you helped me with trying to get Ethan to like me, even though it didn't work, and there's so many other things you have done for me, that I can't even begin to tell you them all. Gordo, today, I've realized I have feelings for you. Feelings that I want you as more than a friend. You said a few minutes ago that you loved me, and I just want to say, that I love you too."
Speechless and not knowing what else to do, Gordo embraced her and kissed her softly on the lips. She kissed him back and whispered:"I'll
always be here for you Gordo."
"Me too," he replied as they let go and walked together back towards
the building.
THE END
(A/N: Well, short and sappy, but oh well. I hope you liked it!)
