I clicked on my flashlight as I walked into the woods. Where the hell am I? I started running towards a strange tree that looked like it had a note attached to it. Fatigue took over quickly as I slowed down and walked closer. Thee note came into focus. It had a weird drawing on it of what looked like a faceless man wearing a tuxedo. I ripped it off of the door and I suddenly got the uncomfortable feeling of someone watching me. I kept walking, resisting the urge to turn around every second.

"One down," I mumbled. "seven to go."

I continued walking, getting more comfortable with my awkward pace every step. I was finding pages like it was an easy game. 2...3...4...5...6...7...It was simple.

"One more left. It has to be here." I mumbled under my breath as I approached a building that looked like a public bathroom.

I entered the bathroom and was thrown off by the muggy atmosphere. It was a twisting maze. I kept pushing forward, no matter how frustrated I became. I finally found the last page in a small room. I slowly walked towards it and suddenly my vision became blurry and I felt another presence. I whipped around only to find him. Standing there. Looking directly at me, even though he had no eyes. I felt his tentacles tighten around my neck as I reached for that last page, but he had my knocked on the floor, gasping for air. The last thing I remember is his ghastly face staring at me, then everything turned black and I never saw light again.

I woke up and put my hand on my chest. My heart was beating rapidly.

"Good God." I said under my breath. I looked at the clock. 3:46 AM. Great. Only two hours until I get up for school. Oh well.

I forced myself out of bed. Legs shaking with every step. That dream...It seemed so real, could it have been? No. Second chances don't exist.
