This is a plot bunny that refused to leave me. It is a Highschool DxD crossover with Harry Potter.

Harry won't be a devil, angel or any other kind of supernatural being. He'll simply be human. Though, as Rowling leaned her series heavily onto Christianity I decided to make him the reincarnation of Jesus, with coming back from the dead, being a martyr, Christianity being a religion of love and Harry's so called power being love, as well as being a Lamb of God following his shepherd (Dumbledore being the shepherd). Also in the Book of Revelation there is a Lion-like Lamb, as a symbol for Jesus. (fitting for Harry with him being a Gryffindor and all.)

I won't write this into a proper story because of that reason as well. Too much controversy about it. Not as much as if I'd make it Mohammed. Then again, there are stories in which he is literally the GOD. So, it could be possible. Still, most likely I won't continue with it.

Just like there is a guy with the soul of Hercules and a girl with the one from Jean of Arc, Harry has the one of Jesus, after passing all these tests and coming back from the dead. In time taking on God's place as his heir. Son of God and all that. Would be explained further in the story how that all works.

Obviously Harry would possess the True Longinus, Holy Grail and the Incinerate Anthem, for obvious reasons. It doesn't matter who the Sacred Gears belonged to before that. He is their true owner regardless of that. They being the three holy relics made by and associated with Jesus. Maybe I'll add the Holy Nails and the Shroud of Turin (Invisibility Cloak), but I'm unsure about them. Or I give him only the Shroud and let him earn the rest further down the line. Mostly because of the Holy Grail and its ability to resurrect people. I also thought about giving him his own peerage, but not as many as a chessboard to not make him too overpowered. ^^

I thought more along the lines of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. War, Famine and Death. All of whom can only be humans and not angels, demons or fallen angels. Pestilence isn't a real horsemen and was added sometime later. The first one is actually Victory and is speculated to be Jesus himself, but it doesn't have to be so. Fittingly Harry would have the Book with Seven Seals as his own unique Sacred Gear. Capable of summoning the Apocalypse and with only him being worthy to open the book and declare it so.

As it takes place in the Highschool DxD verse it will obviously have a harem. I though about Akeno (rescuing her before she became a half-Devil), Jean of Arc, Asia (Also before becoming a devil), Yasaka, Kuroka (Also before becoming a Devil), Ginny, Xenovia Quarta and Irina Shidou as possible candidates. I set myself the goal of not including any devils in the harem, again, for obvious reasons.

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

The Battle of Hogwarts was put on hold for the moment. An hour reprieve in which nobody really got said reprieve. Much too busy mourning the people they lost. Be they loved ones, family members or friends.

As soon as it came the pause ended. The end of it was signalled by the arrival of Voldemort's group. They had Hagrid chained up at the neck, dragging the gentle giant along like a beast. Hagrid looked shocked, as if he couldn't believe what was happening around him. Upon further inspection the defenders of Hogwarts saw him carrying a figure.

"Who is that Hagrid is carrying?" Ginny Weasley asked Neville Longbottom. Both of them standing at the helm of their group, facing the abomination named Voldemort. "Neville, who is it?"

Neville did not answer, his mind too busy processing what his eyes saw.

A moment later Voldemort answered Ginny, shouting out in wicked glee, his arms spread wide. "Harry Potter is dead!"

Cries of denial, gasps of despair and murmurs of shock rose up like a tide on the side of the defenders. Ginny being the loudest as her heart felt like it was torn out of her chest. "No! No!" she cried, trying to run towards the love of her life. Only to be stopped by her father holding her back, saving her from her own actions done out of grief.

"Silence!" Riddle roared out. His words were accompanied by a small shock wave to emphasize his point.

Ron and Hermione could only stare in disbelief, their mouths slightly open from shock.

"Stupid girl," Voldemort began and repeated softly, his voice a sibilant hiss. "Harry Potter is dead." He pointed at himself, saying. "From this day forth you put your faith in me."

Nobody replied, still much too numb by the knowledge that Harry was killed by that monster.

Voldemort turned towards his minions, spreading his arms wide and repeating once again for good measure. "Harry Potter is dead!" It was as if he couldn't believe it himself after so many failures to kill the boy. His red eyes locked onto his Death Eaters, as if asking for confirmation that this was not a dream and he really was the victor.

In response they all laughed. Some did it more forced than others.

Voldemort laughed with them and grinned, showing his yellow teeth. Facing the defenders once more, he told them. "And now is the time to declare yourself!" His expression telling them that they would only survive through his magnanimous offer. "Join us or die."

The silence resumed again for a short while, until Lucius Malfoy urged his son to join them and hopefully survive. Though, it were his mother's words that swayed him in the end. In the end he proved himself a coward in front of everyone. After all the deeds he witnessed and was forced to do himself he showed that he only wanted to survive and join the biggest bully. Just like Pettigrew.

Though, he was the only one doing so. All others stood in defiance to Lord Voldemort.

"Well done, Draco." Voldemort praised the scion of House Malfoy. Who was soon embraced by his mother and led away by his parents to the back of their group. Trying to avoid the battle to come and employing the ancient tactic used by their French ancestors. Running away when the going got tough.

Neville limped forward, the tattered Sorting Hat in his left hand and his wand in his right. A grim and determined expression on his face. Behind him the defenders were nervous and afraid of the things to come, but trying to act brave all the same.

Before someone could do or say anything a bright light coming from Hagrid blinded everyone. Harry Potter's form was seemingly enveloped in a radiant light, followed by a rainbow halo appearing around his head. Harry's eyes snapped open and took a lungful of air in front of both factions, stunning them in the process.

"I fear tales of my demise are grossly exaggerated." Harry said calmly, standing up as Hagrid let him down. The giant was unable to do anything else in his current state of mind. Too shocked at the happenings coming one after another.

Voldemort and his Death Eaters fared no better than the defenders of Hogwarts, simply staring stupidly or blinking owlishly at the Boy-Who-Lived-Again.

Harry dusted his clothes off without a care in the world, stretching a bit to get the blood flowing again. Then, he walked towards the defenders, turned and faced the invaders directly. His emerald eyes holding something otherworldly in them as the light of dawn was falling on them. "Nothing to say, Tom?" the Last Potter inquired calmly, his mouth twitching slightly upwards.

"How are you still alive?" Voldemort asked in frustration, his red eyes wide in disbelief. He had seen the Killing Curse hit the brat dead on! "Why won't you die?!" he finally screamed in rage. This time there was an edge of fear in his voice, paired with confusion. His red eyes fell on the halo made out of a rainbow around Potter's head. He had no idea what that meant, but it couldn't be anything good for him.

"Who said I survived?" came the smooth reply. His expression never changing, his eyes now holding something akin to mischief in them. "I simply came back."

Next he summoned an ornate spear with several intricate features. The rod of the spear was blue. It featured golden metal decorations, in the shapes of arrow tips, that spiraled around in a double helix pattern. The decorations finished at the top of the rod of the spear which featured a white circle, which was completely empty, and had a cross that filled in the circle, but not completely. There was a small silver stump which featured four protrusions, two on the left and the other two on the right. The tip of the spear was silver, which was longer than other types of spears.

Harry thought to use the True Longinus right of the bat might seem like overkill, but it definitely was going to be over quicker that way. Not to mention that it would also send a statement. A crude one, but still. With a sigh, Harry let the tip of his spear be enshrouded by the purple flames of Incinerate Anthem.

Voldemort in his panic sent all the Dementors towards Harry. "Kill him! Suck out his soul!" he commanded shrilly.

All of his Death Eaters heeded the command as well, casting Killing Curses together with the other Unforgivables and more lethal curses.

Harry simply redirected the attacks, instinctively using his Pearl Treasure, letting the beams of light fly towards the sky and disperse harmlessly. He didn't even need to manifest the orbs to use the powers. Following that he stomped the True Longinus on the ground, combining his General Treasure with the purple flames, causing a wall of purple fire to shot towards the Dementors.

The demons stood no chance against the holy blaze, shrieking in unholy agony as their bodies were consumed entirely. In less than five seconds all of the Dementors in Great Britain were reduced to nothing more but ash, releasing their captured souls. The silvery whisps simply floated back towards their respective bodies, guided by Harry's third Sacred Gear; the Holy Grail.

Unnoticed by all Harry used his Horse Treasure to teleport Hagrid out of the line of fire.

"Now that we are without pesky interruptions; let's start." Harry declared, simply repeating the actions once more. Similar to Fiendfyre the purple embers in the sky grew once more into an inferno, roaring as they morphed into all manner of creatures. Unlike the demoic fire these flames burned with a brilliancy unmatched by any other magical fire.

"No, wait.." Voldemort cried out. His mind and what was left of his soul drowning in panic, making him unable to think or Apparate away. Not that the Elder Wand would do anything for him, now that his true master was back. A second later Voldemort, Nagini and all of his remainind Death Eaters, be they werewolf, vampire or normal magicals were incinerated completely. Their bodies, tainted by Dark Magic, only fuelling the holy flames all the more.

In not even the span of two minutes Harry had done what nobody could do in decades, defeat Voldemort for good.

The defenders could not even begin to cheer as the next happening occurred.

Up in the sky the dark clouds parted, letting light shine down onto the earth once again, illuminating the destroyed castle. However, upon close inspection it seemed as if winged people were flying towards them. The Gates of Heaven opened up, releasing all manner of angels onto the land.

Row upon row of them landed before Harry, with ten beings at the front. Each of them had twelve white wings on their backs. All of them knelt in front of Harry, bowing their heads with smiles on their faces.

"All Hail, Harry Potter, Lamb of God, Son of Man, Chosen One, Light of the World and King of Kings. May his reign last forever." The heavenly choir intoned with sweet voices, lifting the spirits of everyone in the vicinity, similar to the Song of a Phoenix.
