Eternally by your side
A Mother's Narration
"Yuki-kun has always been a quiet boy - awfully shy - but nevertheless he was a pillar of strength. He protected the others; he would face the punishments even when they were not for him; never fighting back but taking the angry blows that were thrown out whenever the Director was less than happy.
Foster kids come and go from the home but Yuki-kun remained. Akito-san wanted him all to himself. Yuki-kun was and is different. Yuki-kun was and is special… Akito-san wanted to break him, he wanted to make Yuki-kun submit, he wanted to make him cry, to make him speak and to make him beg. But Yuki-kun couldn't and wouldn't - he had made a promise.
"My Yuki-kun has always been a quiet boy - terribly shy - never really a 'peoples-person', but there was one time when he was lavishly whole, there was that someone who always made him smile."

"Kyo-sama was and is the complete opposite of Yuki-kun. They made the perfect couple, much like the sun and the moon. You could even say that Yuki-kun absorbed his strength from Kyo-sama, even when Kyo-sama was not there. Just like when the moon takes its light from the sun… that is how it was with them, give and take.
"Kyo-sama was and is the total opposite of Yuki-kun. Kyo-sama was one of the first foster children at the new home, he was and is very loud, outgoing, bright, stubborn and loves a good fight.
"Yuki-kun came a little later at the age of eight, after I… left.
"Yuki-kun was Yuki-kun, quiet and shy.
"Kyo-sama was Kyo-sama, and he took it upon himself to be there for my Yuki-kun for always, no matter what.
"Slowly he approached, whispering for only Yuki-kun's ears to hear.
"My mom once told me when I was little, that every time I get scared - even if it is a little fear - I should look outside the window and find the moon. She says that the moon is a guardian that it is always there, even when you cannot see it. She says that just like the sun protects the day, the moon protects the night and that when you are scared; the moon will shine so bright that nothing can hurt you… Yuki-san, will you be my moon?"
"My Yuki-kun looked bewildered, tilting his head ever so slightly. He considered Kyo-sama as the boy opened his arms and a small smile played on his cheeky lips. After a few seconds, Yuki-kun smiled the most beautiful smile that could ever grace the earth. That perfect smile was the first, the last, and the only. For never again would Yuki-kun let his lips smile as such.
"I will be your moon, if you will be my sun." Yuki-kun let himself be taken into the embrace, initiating their perfect camaraderie.
"My Yuki-kun was only ever complete with his Kyo-kyo. They were always together, never really apart from each other for long until that day, until the day when the sun was taken away from the moon… and till this day the moon has yet to speak one word to the earth; only shining that small amount of borrowed light until the sun would return with his ever present radiance. Yes, my Yuki-kun and his Kyo-kyo made a perfect couple."
