Darling was walking back into the girls dorm room from a rather not so good family dinner. While at Ever After High her farther thought its good to have a family dinner with her and her two brothers, Daring and Dexter. Usually her and her farther don't get along to well, like seriously when she was younger he made Dexter babysit her do she didn't get in trouble and he is her twin, but they love each other none the less. But tonight was the night that Darling thought it would be a good idea to ask her Dad if she could, maybe, join his Hero Training class. That lead to a yelling battle between the two and before Darling know it she was walking out of the restaurant.
Darling walked down the hall, part of her felt like she should run back to her Dad and say sorry but another part, a stronger part, felt like she should go yell at him some more. Maybe she should ask Daring to battle her and see who win, Daddy little Golden Child wouldn't be the best any more would he.
"Aha," a voice said from right in front of her face, snapping her out of her daydream. The voice belonged to Holly O'Hair, who Darling almost ran into. "On My Grimm Holly, I am so sorry," I said, stopping in my tracks.
"It's ok, I wasn't looking where I was going," Holly says, as she looked up at Darling, "Are you ok?"
"Ya I'm," I said, but with that Holly raised an eyebrow at Darling, "Ok fine I am not fine."
Holly, smiling with the fact that she was right, asked, "Do you want to talk about it. I have been told I am a really good listener and I have some hot chocolate brewing in the kitchen?"
"Sure," Darling said, and the two started walking.
"Why do you have hot chocolate brewing this late at night," Darling asked, not wanting the walking to be silent. "Well, I couldn't sleep, so I decide why not read a book and I also have hot chocolate when I read," and Darling laughed at that. The two continued to talk about book, hot chocolate, and other random things as they walked. As they did, they both grew a soft spot in their heart for each other, growing be each word.
"Honestly, I don't know why anyone would want those huge marshmallow in their hot chocolate, I personally like five little marshmallow in mine," Darling stated. "I like four," Holly said, "I think five is one to many and plus I really like even numbers, I don't know why!"
Darling laughed as the two walked into the kitchen/living room of the girl's dorm. Holly got the pot of hot chocolate and poured two glasses, one with five marshmallow and the other with four.
"So what's wrong," Holly asked, taking a seat next to Darling. As she said that all of Darling trouble came back to her.
"Me and my dad got into a fight," Darling said, and with out even Holly asking, Darling know wanted to know what it was about, "I asked my dad if I could be in his Hero Training class, and he totally went crazy on me."
"Well than he is stupid," Holly said, shocking Darling. Holly was a very strong royal, everyone she had been waiting forever to have her destiny, but the fact that she was mad at King Charming for not letting a girl be a hero made Darling wanted to kiss her.
Wait, she thought, what did I just think. Did she really want to kiss Holly? Yes, Darling always know that she swayed the other way but she never thought that she would have a crush on Holly O'Hair.
"We should be getting to bed, it's getting late," Darling said, standing up. She wanted to straight out her feelings about Holly before talking to her again.
"Ok," Holly said, standing up as well.
The two walked up to the door, and Darling said, "Well good night Holly."
"Ya good night," Holly said. But before Darling could turn around Holly placed a hand on Darling's shoulder and leaned in with a kiss.
The kiss lasted for about 5 seconds but that became the best 5 seconds of Darling life. The kiss was as sweet as sugar and had a rather marshmallow taste to it.
