Prologue

My Child, I look down to where you lay

I hear your suffering and all your confusion

Fear lays in your heart and I wish I could take it all away

But as I look down begging to be able to gather you in my arms

I am trapped by law to only watch

But worry not my child for I know you will survive

And one day we will be reunited

For you are my son

The Gods where is distress, a child had been stole. Not just any child either, no it was a very important child that had been taken. The child of no-less than four gods, that's right FOUR gods. This child was to be the future of Olympus. For he was there prince, everyone loved this boy. Especially his mother –Aphrodite- and three fathers – Zeus, Poseidon and Hades – . Now you are probably wondering how it is possible for this boy to have three fathers and only one mother, well it is quite simple really. You see all three brothers where sick and tired of having to watch their children die and after making the oath to have no more demi-god children they all wanted all wanted to have a child that they would not have to watch die. A child they could raise in Olympus to grow up to be a god or goddess. But they also knew that this child could be the child of prophesy that had made them sware not to have any more demi-god children, this child may be there downfall or saviour. But there was also a chance that this child wouldn't be. Aphrodite who as the goddess of fertility and having heard all their desires for a child decided to grant there wish. Taking a sample of blood and power from all three she went the Hecate who- as the goddess of magic- made a potion for Aphrodite to drink. From this potion Aphrodite became pregnant with a child who contained the blood and power of all four of them.

At first the three male gods where shocked, they were to have a god child for the first time in many a millennia. Not caring that they had to share this child with their brothers, the gods celebrated. For the amount of time Aphrodite was pregnant with their child the big three pampered her, made sure she had everything she could possibly need. On the day of birth to the new prince of Olympus all the gods and goddesses where aglow with happiness, it had been so long since they had a child among them. The child was to be named Philetos meaning beloved for the child was loved by all the gods.

For the first fifteen months of his life Letos – as the gods had come to call him – was spoilt by his loving family. But a fortnight before Halloween 1980 in the middle of the night a stranger had come in and snatched up the young god. So the next morning when Aphrodite had gone to check on her young son – as she did every morning since his birth – she was in for a shock to find his crib empty. So started the look for the young prince, but it was too late he was already hidden from them.
