The Smash Emblem appears before cutting to the Kalos Pokemon League. Like several other trailers, this was done in a different art style, in this case, the style of the Pokemon anime series.

Currently, in the middle of the Dragonmark Chamber, Charizard and Lucario were fighting Bowser and Ganondorf. The Pokemon team was currently losing, although they were putting up a good fight.

After both villains dodged some attacks from the Pokemon, the former two managed to throw both their opponents on the ground, which did quite some damage to the latter team.

Seeing Charizard and Lucario struggling to get up, Bowser and Ganondorf smirked at each other. They both got ready to land the finishing blow when suddenly...

"ENOUGH!"

A Shadow Ball was suddenly thrown into the arena, causing the villains to quickly react and dodge it.

Curious as to what interrupted the fight, Bowser and Ganondorf looked up to see a figure disguised by the shadows, floating above them.

"You will not cause anymore problems!"

The figure then landed on the ground with a force, causing a mini shockwave to appear. Finally, the person was revealed: it was Mewtwo, the Genetic Pokemon, eyes glowing pale blue and crouching down.

Mewtwo got up from the ground and raised a single hand, before the trailer cuts to the fighter announcement image for a brief moment.

Mewtwo Strikes Back!

The scene starts back up. The two villains were not fazed, and both got into battle poses.

Mewtwo stood firm. "Know your place!"

The trailer changes to gameplay as Mewtwo charged up for his signature move, Psystrike.

Music: vs. Kanto Legendary - Pokemon X and Y

The gameplay footage started with Mewtwo doing one of his taunts in Battlefield, before a demonstration starts of him using his moves against various fighters.

Mewtwo then showed off his much improved skills in several different arenas against the other villain fighters.

Then it cuts to Mewtwo showing off his special moves, which included Psystrike as his new down special and a much improved Shadow Ball.

The final gameplay footage showed Mewtwo transforming in Mega Mewtwo Y for his final smash in Final Destination before the Super Smash Bros Logo appears.

The trailer cuts back to the Pokemon anime styled Dragonmark Chamber scene. Bowser and Ganondorf were currently lying on the ground, defeated and unconscious. Meanwhile, Mewtwo had discovered that Charizard and Lucario were no longer in the spot the villains had thrown them to.

"Where could they-"

Suddenly, an Aura Sphere was shot past his shoulder. Mewtwo turned around to discover Mega Charizard X and Mega Lucario standing on top of the dragon statue in the back, both with challenging looks in their eyes.

"At last..." Mewtwo stated, "Worthy opponents!"

He then mega evolved into his Y form before the trailer ends in a shot of the three mega form pokemon about to strike each other.
