Mortal Coils

The mortal coils in your mind,

Your sanity, they all unwind.

Mind and soul are both long gone,

And yet your body trudges on.

In this ship, its little frame,

In the black hangs with your blame.

Body succumbs to the blight,

Left in the dark of the void's night.

"Xanadu," is on your lips.

Your home, your grave, this dying ship.

Engines dead, the light shall go.

No refuge here for you to go.

And so it drifts, this little spark,

Is lost to the silent dark.

No salvation here to come to you,

As you lie within the Xanadu.
