Fatiqued, I dropped my trusted bow,
While my warm blood freely flows
I know this time I will die,
No potions, can now save my life.

Lowering myself to the floor,
To him, my love, I implore.
"You hold the key to keep me here,
Don't fear to wield it now, my dear.

Remember that promise you made
The words, at the altar, you said,
'This I shall swear, cross my heart,
Not even death will do us part.'

He whispers softly in my ear,
"I won't fail you, do not fear,
My word I gave, my word I'll keep,
Rest now, my wife, rest.. sleep."

So in his arms, I lay to rest,
While he takes his blade to my breast.
My flesh tears, with one silken sound,
And me to my earthly cares unbound.

As I rise from my mortal shell,
My dear love starts to chant his spell.
I watch me stand up next to him,
While my love, he smiles a smile so grim.

I smile too, for I know in my heart,
We shall now never be apart,
My wisp fades away, satisfied,
For I know I'll never leave his side.
