A/N: Warning: first time posting an Xfile fanfiction. Long time fan though,
complete and total randomness. Plus, duct tape. Takes place after I WANT TO
BELIEVE. Sorry had to get this out of my head.

The Scientific Wonders of Duct Tape:
By: LOSTrocker

Mulder was at it again, even though he'd promised her on the island that he
wouldn't. He was rambling on about another conspiracy he'd come across.
She couldn't take it. She had a solution to shutting him up, but the trouble
was, she had to find it.

No, she wasn't going to use her gun on him… Again, though it was very
tempting.

"Where is it?" Scully questioned herself.

"That's what I've been trying to tell you Scully," Mulder continued,
oblivious to the fact that Scully had stopped listening to him hours ago.
"They don't know, they're still trying to find it, yet they've come up
with evidence of it's existence!"

"No, not you Mulder, I'm talking to myself!" she corrected him angrily.

"Scully, are you hearing voices?"

"What, the ones you've caused over the years?" she questioned
playfully.

Mulder ignored her by going on about his newest discovery.

Dammit, Scully cursed to herself. She never understood it. Why was it when
you were trying to look for something, you couldn't find it, but when you
didn't need it, it showed up? She really hoped that this wasn't going to
be the case.

She was about to give up hope when she stubbed her toe on something. Then she
spotted some silver underneath some paper. "EUREKA!" she shouted.

That got Mulder's attention. "I love that show!" he stated.

Mulder noticed that Scully now had something in her hand. It was worse then a
gun. Okay, maybe not worse then a gun, but pretty damn close – it was duck
tape! That stuff hurt. But before he could make a break for it, Scully had him
duck taped to the chair, and his mouth taped shut.

Ah, silence!

Mulder wasn't happy. He mumbled to be let lose. Scully laughed and
pretended not to hear him. "Oh, I'm sorry what was that?" she asked him.

Mulder stomped his foot down. This was so not funny. Scully thought
otherwise. She grabbed his camera and took a picture of her handy work. It
could always be used for blackmail later.

Then again, seeing Mulder duck taped to a chair, completely useless wasn't
necessarily a bad thing.

Fin.
