The Weather
"I'm walkin' on sunshine."
When you live as far north as Sam and Carly do, you need to enjoy sun and warmth while you can. Which is exactly what they told Freddie they were doing when they stripped down to bikini's and took recliners up to the roof of the Bushwell building. In reality, they were both looking for excuses to see the other in not much clothing.
It started with Carly's offhand comment that Sam should walk around in a towel while she crashed at the Shay loft. Her eyes drifted unashamedly over Sam fresh out of the shower form. Sam blushed and mumbled something about not wanting to share her good looks with both Carly and Spencer, making sure that her friend could hear the stress she put on 'both'.
Then Sam got her turn when she decided that the best way to clean her friends gravy stained shirt was to force Carly into the shower and see what happened. Carly didn't put up too much of a fight and Sam got her way, all the while not noticing that Carly had decided to change into her white pyjamas before eating dinner. Minutes later, Sam all but ran out of the bathroom, apologising profusely when Carly followed, clutching a towel half-heartedly to her chest.
Apparently, Carly had decided to forgo wearing a bra to bed that night.
The culmination of the subtle flirting they'd been doing over the month previous to the sunny day was the mutual, hurried, and eager decision to parade around half-naked on the roof in front of each other. Leaving Freddie and Spencer to ponder over the hickeys both teenaged girls were trying to cover up during dinner that night.
Before anyone asks, no I don't know where I'm going with this. Probably to another un-related chapter to do with rain.
Review, fav, put it on alert (because who wants a lazy story?) and I'll see you when I get over my procrastination.
