Hello! I'm Aphrodite ! Here are some tips on how to make a Percy Jackson and the Olympians Harry potter crosdover.
How to make someone want to read it and how to get reviews.
(SUMMARY)
Summarys are what gets the readers attention. Think about what the story is about. Lets say your making an Harry potter Percy Jackson and the Olympians crossover, and it was about Percy going to hogwarts. Say that as your main sentence. Then go into detail. Your summary doesnt have to be perfect, just try to fix any errors on it.
(TITLES)
The title is important. Try to think about it before you publish it. A good title could attract more readers. If you already got the idea of the plot in your head use that to help you out.
(Rating)
Okay people first of all if your going to cuss do mot rate it K nor M. Its T. Its okay if you rate it M, but make sure you inform the reader cussing nothing suggestive. If its an M story andyou mean M well ythen inform please.
(PLOT)
Have a good plot in your head. If you have writters block go read some other hfanfics or ask for help. Its okay to ask. Ask a fellow fan or friend.
(GRAMMAR, SPELLING, PUNCTUATION)
If your bad at this then, use spell check or you could get a beta.
(Character)
Okay people here is were wr get to the actual HP PJO PART.
First of all, Oc are fine. But dont over use them. (Putting alot in the story and few canon characters.) Try to be original. Look for an idea thats all yours, or you can use one that doesn't have alot of fanfics on it.
Genderbent characrers can be intresting, makr it so they stay true to the characters.. HarryxOC? PercyxOC? That could work. Very dramatic storys are always some of the best. Try tostay true to the ccharacters. If the characters lets say Ron, you put him in a situation and you dont know how to make it so he stays true to the character, think what would Ron do? If your deliberately trying to make them OOC, then thats easy.
Remember the number one rule to fanfiction is to have fun.
Dont let flames get you down. Your first flame is always the worst, but remember you dont care if people dont like your story who cares?! You like it and thats all that matters.
Any questions? Just ask.
