Bind me tight 25 May 18
Sometimes, when you are a Nation, but spend a bit too much time perhaps around humans who have not dealt in millennia in which for their minds to become just a bit unhinged or out of whack…you can forget about the quirks that even your loved ones might have.
This was the case for a Mathew Williams, otherwise known as the Nation of Canada. He was, of course, referring to his boyfriend Arthur Kirkland, otherwise known as England. More specifically, he was referring to an occasion where they had been making out and he had Arthur had talked of how he didn't want him to go back home, which he had to of course to deal with the Nation matters of his country. Teasingly, Mathew had responded to Arthur's "I don't want to lose you, not this soon. We barely had any time together" with, "then maybe you should bind me to you and I'll come back as soon as I can."
He hadn't expected what he said to be given such a thoughtful then happy look as Arthur chirped out, "why that's a perfect idea" and immediately set to spell casting.
3 seconds later, just as he was getting over his shock of "wait, what?" the room had exploded around them and they'd both been flung back onto the bed.
Thankfully, whatever spell his love had decided to for some reason cast had failed.
The funny part came even later, as Mathew was carefully sweeping up the last of the broken glass that had been a previously very happy window that had never bothered anyone before, but had met its sister window panes in death as yet another of Arthur's ever increasing casualties in his continued magic use calamities…when everyone knew but was too polite to say that his mind sometimes went on him, and when that happened in the middle of spellcasting that it became dangerous. But, just as no one mentioned when Russia forget that he was no longer the USSR or when France would be caught using an entire carton of eggs, mindlessly humming and cooking egg after egg just for himself…no one told Arthur when he went into one of his "moods" that the older Nations, especially those with populations on the whole starting to get older, tended to get.
Mathew threw the broken glass in the garbage bin and remarked to England as he went to hang up the broom, "You know, I'd said that teasingly, but also meant it as a nod to a different meaning?"
Arthur, by now was back in his more rational side, and a bit sheepish about his actions, but also knew that Mathew wouldn't judge him for them so thankfully it hadn't spoiled the evening. "How so?" He asked without any bitterness, or hurt about having done something wrong. He knew something like this would happen eventually, and no one had gotten hurt. Everything was fine.
"I was thinking more along the lines of a ring."
Both Mathew and Arthur smiled.
And now the evening had just gotten better.
Hiiiiiiii
Here I am being crazy again ;) and thinking of setting a regular schedule of updates...for the next month at least. My job currently has me doing on the job medical training in a place away from home with no wi-fi unless I drive for 20 min to the nearest library, so I've spent a lot of time with my old journals I've brought along to do Duke of Edinburgh Award paperwork with and they have my old stories in...so I've been having lots more time to type those up.
Since my last update, I've gotten another 4 short stories done with another mostly done.
What sounds like a good update schedule for you all until my next uncertain update time when I'll be sent to a new location?
Cheers!
HUGS and WUVS lovelies~

P.S. I'm not just abandoning stories still not completed, I'm just quickly typing up others I come across that I like until I come to the chapters and stuff done for the ones already partly up but not finished on here yet :)
