Graveyard-Shift

'

Shovels in hand, Sam and Dean stared at the old, haggard woman crouching in the middle of the moon-lit graveyard.

"Dude, that hag is ancient!" Despite her ethereal glow, neither of the brothers was entirely sure whether she was a spirit or just old.

"Is she… like… reciting Shakespeare?" Sam gaped.

"In my day I was famous for playing Desdemona in 'Othello'," she croaked, with a whooshing-sound rushing over at a speed that belied her crooked legs.

"More like the scull from 'Hamlet'…," Dean deadpanned.

Both looked at the elder Winchester incredulously; for very different reasons, though.

"What?!" Dean demanded.
