Dragons
Vakama stopped. He wasn't about to argue with a 40 foot tall monster. He knew that the Tahtorak could rip him to shreds in seconds. He mentally triggered his dick launcher's 'rocket-pack' function, and soared off toward the horizon. The Tahtorak had given up with the chase, and had started tearing apart sections of the chute system, to see how far it could toss them.
This is very worrying Thought Vakama. Someone must have released it from the Onu-Metru Archives. But how? And why?
Vezok turned to study the pool he and Fenrakk had just fallen into. Suddenly, a dragon jumped out of the shadows behind him, startling itself and Vezok at the same time.
"Hello Fenrakk," said Vezok. "I see that the pool has changed you too." Fenrakk responded to this with an almighty roar, which radiated to the heavens and back, scaring Taku and various other species of bird, from the safety of the trees.
"Now, now little one. Calm down." Vezok chuckled. "Aah, you remind me of an old friend, Karodis was his name. Ah yes, we shared some good times together, he and I. And so it is decided. You shall henceforth be called Kardas, King of Rahi!"
If Fenrakk disliked this idea, he didn't show it. Although he gave a growl of consideration for his friend.
"You're right. Vezok just doesn't seem right any more. Well… what about Vezor? Or Kozev? How about Vezon?" Now Kardas liked this idea very much.
Little did they know, those new names… were the only things keeping them from being obliterated.
Whenua was at a loss for words.
"What!?" He said in disbelief. "A Tahtorak!? It practically impossible for it to be up here, in the city. It was kept on one of the lowest of all Sub-Levels!" He explained.
"See any other strange objects Fire-Spitter?" Matau jeered. (Onewa chuckled at this.) "I mean, apart from the rocks in your head, of course!"
"Hey!!" Shouted Onewa. "Keep your mouth shut about my element!"
"Yes," said Nuju, Toa of Ice. "Onewa is just like the stone he represents: Strong, brave, wise, bold-"
"Well, you know… I try-" Onewa said.
"-Dense, stubborn, hard-headed-" Nuju continued.
"Hey! We get it alright! Besides, nobody's perfect!" Onewa retorted.
"A strange mutation, to be sure. But an interesting transformation, none the less."
MAKUTA IS BACK!!!
