Return to Metru-Nui

Prologue.

Turaga Vakama stood at the bow of a vessel that was slowly but surely, making its way to the City of legends: Metru Nui. During the past few days, he had been telling the Toa Nuva all about Metru Nui and it's former inhabitants. Toa Tahu had been the most curious, always asking him questions about his former life as a Toa Metru. A life that he'd rather forget. He and the other Turaga, were weary – yet, surprisingly excited, and that was making them feel worn out and tired… and old. It had been at least one thousand years since Vakama and his fellow Turaga had left Metru Nui. They had given up their Toa power, to wake the sleeping Matoran. Now they were heading back to Metru Nui, and it seemed an entire lifetime had passed.

Toa Tahu approached him. "Sorry to disturb your rest Wise One, but my brothers and sister feel… you have not shared every tale of your old home with us."

"Oh yes I have Tahu, every story… every story, but one…"

Chapter One

A pair of red eyes looked out from the darkness, radiating evil. A voice so dark and cold, it sent shivers down your spine, began to speak.

"So, the Toa have decided to 'follow the light' and have gone to the island above. So be it. There is a price to pay for upsetting the great Makuta. And they won't like me when I'm angry…"
