Author's Note: Eh, I don't know about this one here. It'll probably mean something to someone and be nothing to someone else. It just all depends on the reader, who will hopefully leave replies. Replies to me are one of the greatest things I can receive. So, if you read, please review? About the story: It is written in present tense, so don't complain that the story is in present, because I already know. This is my very first Harry/Luna, so shippers of wonderful SS Loonies and Lions please do not kill me for not doing justice to your ship. This is a one-shot that will not be continued.

Disclaimer: Does anything belong to me? No, nothing does except for the elderly woman.

Warnings: I sincerely hope you get the ending. That is all.

Tranquility

She smiles and her eyes crinkle up.

"Why are you smiling?" an elderly woman asks. She replies that she is waiting for him to join her. The woman sneers in disgust and leaves the strange blonde haired girl on the bench behind her. As she is leaving all the woman can think about is why the girl is still acting as if he is coming back for her. The woman bitterly wonders why the girl is still acting like this after two years. Curiosity cannot help but make the woman want to look back once more to see if the smile had faded. One look over her shoulders confirms the smile still in place. The woman turns back around, her lips tight and her aging face morphs into a state of disgust.

"Harry, why are you late?" the girl asks with concern as the man she loves sits next to her not a minute after the woman walked away, a broader smile forming on her lips at the sight of her beloved.

"Sorry I made you wait for me," he replies avoiding her actual question but with a return her smile. He takes her hand softly as he stares at her; he hopes that she'll never leave him.

"Harry, some woman thought I was being rude because I was waiting for you," she says not really caring about the woman, she just wants to hear him tell her that the woman was the rude and odd one.

"Never mind that woman, Luna," he tells her softly in her ear before kissing her on the cheek. This happened frequently since the final battle and honestly, he didn't know why. Maybe it wouldn't happen so often if they officially married. He works up his nerve and pulls out a ring that he has been saving for the right occasion to give to Luna since the night of the final battle. "Luna, will you marry me?"

Her eyes go wide in sheer happiness; never had she felt this loved before. Who would have thought that Loony Luna would grow up to marry Harry Potter? She didn't even think it would happen from the first moment she had met him on the Hogwarts Express back in her fourth year. And with much excitement she hugs her fiancée. A happy laugh sounds lightly from her and his lips as they hold their hug for a few seconds. Another gentle kiss from Harry sends Luna over the moon.

The elderly woman looks back at the girl in curiosity once more and she sees the girl hugging something that is not there. She wonders why in the world the girl is hugging the empty air so tightly.
