A scruffy old magician, who wandered the world in search of unhappy children and gave them seeds of adventures; crocodile tongues and hen teeth and snake toenails and pig feathers and the fur from a frog's back.
But had this man ever met the eyes of a storm cloud rhinoceros, flown in a peach with seagulls, or stolen a skeletal pirate's underwater treasure?
