This is my first free-verse. I never really read any till I came across Lily/Teddy, which I have become fucking addicted to. Please review! Constructive criticism is always welcome (in fact, it's encouraged).
Rose pity in her eyes tells you that you'll find someone one day. You feel like punching her (see the blood run down her face?) because Rose has no fucking clue. She thinks that she and Scorpius have some twisted Romeo & Juliet romance [ they'll both die in the end ] and it makes her so special. She's overcome so much. Rose has no idea of pain.
You know pain—hasn't it been your constant companion for all these 9 years, 20 days? You've known how it feels to have your heart s l o w l y break (hear it cracking?) because you can nevereverever have him. But you try [keep trying baby girl] to be perfect (just like her) so you can have him. Because your knight has always had everchanging hair and eyes.
