When the fighting is over and the enormity of what has happened in the last few week has sunk in, Scott holds a memorial service. He is the only human in attendance, but it is crawling with ants, all the survivors of the attack on Pym Industries. He doesn't speak out loud, but it's almost easier now to speak to the ants. And if he cried, there was no one around to see.

He came out of the hill late at night, quiet and thoughtful. And later, when a piece of scrap wood that had Antony soldered on it appeared in his corner of the lab, no one commented. and over the years, as it filled with names, it was ignored. It was only when there was no more room, years later, when he had moved to Avengers Tower, that a small wooden plaque appeared on his desk, with the name Antony Jr. burned in elegant calligraphy, and the words In Memoriam scrawled on the back.

A fluff piece to satisfy the ravaging plot bunnies! And my mom, who is even more terrifying! Sorry, I haven't had much inspiration lately, then I went to Ant-Man with my BFF Jess-kun for her birthday, and bam! Plot bunnies everywhere. They just hide in the back of my mind and whimper when i go near any writing instruments.
