summary : Marissa and Ryan have a late night chat.

Kirsten walked into the living room where her two sons were playing Super Smash Brothers. (the coolest videogame!) "Okay, Seth you need to go clean your room. And Ryan, you have to help him."
"Uh, why?" Seth asked. "Is this just a ruse to get us out of the house?"
"No, Seth, you really have to go clean your room. Jimmy is going away this weekend, and doesn't want Marissa to be home alone. Summer is away, and she doesn't really want to stay with Julie. So Sandy offered to let her stay here. So she is. And she's going to stay in your room, and you are going to stay in the poolhouse withe your brother. So unless you want Marissa to see all of your, uh, things like Captain Oats, I suggest you go through your room." Kirsten smiled and left the room. "Oh, yeah, she'll be here around four."
"Oh, crap! It's already almost three!" Seth shut off his GameCube and ran upstairs, Ryan right behind him.

"Ryan! Seth! Come downstairs!" Sandy yelled up the stairs.
"Yeah?" Ryan 's head appeared. "Hey, Marissa."
"Hey," she answered quietly.
"I'll leave you two alone."
Ryan watched Sandy go into a different room. "Why don't I show you your room? Well, Seth's room," he said, taking her duffel bag.
"Kay." She followed him up the stairs to Seth's blue bedroom.
Seth lay on the floor, reading manga. (Japanese comics) "Hey, guys, what's up?" he asked as they sat on his bed. When neither of them answered he asked, "Why don't we go swimming?"
"Sure," Ryan answered. "Whatever you two want."
"Okay," Marissa replied. "Meet you back here in five minutes."
"I'll meet you guys out there," Ryan said.
