Yoo one of the more emotional sides to RobRae, I hope you all enjoy! :D

The empath stared beyond her, onto the sight of what Robin had become. She tried to hide the fear in her eyes by pulling her hood up, shadows casted above her face. It was just the two of them now-they were all alone. Around them, the other Titans layed. Blood had spilled, mechanical parts had been torn. The team was broken and bruised, yet Raven hardly had a scratch on her.

"Robin," The empath pleaded. He had yet to make a move, but by the way he stared back to her, he wasn't going to spare her. No, their fight had yet to begin. "Please." She didn't want to hurt him. Not him. He had done this before-this wasn't the first time he had undergone as Slade's apprentice. But that was before. He was blackmailed-forced, into doing so. She had yet to discover why he had returned to his side-after everything they had been through. She didn't understand.

"Why are you doing this?" She wondered. What could have ticked him off? Why was Slade back? This wasn't the first time he had attacked the Titans-Raven, herself had been a victim of his savage torture. Robin had too. They both got through it, though. Robin wasn't supposed to being this-it went all against his moral code, which is why Raven couldn't understand.

As of before, Robin said nothing. He continued to glare onto her, and the more he stared, the more angrier he looked. He said nothing, but a growl of rage erupted from him, and he lunged at the empath, releasing series of kicks and punches, all of which Raven gracefully dodged. "Robin! Stop this!" She pleaded, as she brought up shields of dark magic. She didn't want to hurt him-she cared too much, and yet-here he stood with the threat of attacking, or possibly killing her. Harming everyone else, in his way.

He grabbed onto her hood, in attempts to throw her out of the way-instead, her powers wrapped around his figure, and flung him away, as gently as Raven could manage. He wasn't talking to her, he wasn't answering her. The way he stared, she could tell he was looking for blood. She held in her breathe, trying to compose herself. The two had been through so much, together-after time, after getting through being Slade's apprentice, to Terra's betrayal, even when Raven had undergone the threat of destroying the world-Slade all had something to do with this, yet they stayed together. They were closer than ever-they helped each other get through all of this.

They were close. They cared about each other. They loved, and where in love.

Which is why Raven couldn't fathom why he would hurt her like this-why he would hurt the entire team, like this.

She braced herself, watching as he raced back towards her. Oh well. He had turned-as he had done so before, and if this is what it was going to come to, Raven would have to face her worst fear, of being forced to take Robin down.

For the sake of everything good.

That didn't mean she wanted to, however. She continued to skillfully dodge his attacks, and would surround herself with a dark shield, making a bubble around herself so she was unable to be reached. And she would watch, as he angrily pound his fists against the shield, yelling out obscurities, as she tried to think up ways to get him to stop and realise what he was doing.

She got it.

While in the midst of his hitting, Raven dispersed herself from the bubble, making an explosion that sent Robin flying again. While he was caught off guard, she used this advantage to float over to him, and swiftly took his head into her hands. He fought well, but using her soul self, she used it to escape into his mind, instantly calming his thrashing body. "Robin... I'm here to help." She searched his mind, for alterier motives. Maybe he had been brainwashed into attacking the titans, and wasn't aware he was doing so. Slade was tricky, after all, and you could never be sure of what brutish plans he had up his sleeve.

Nothing.

Raven tried to sense if he was in a trance, or that he didn't want to do this, that his mind was fighting his body-anything.

"Raven, get the hell out of here!" All she could hear were his angry cries of protest.

"What's gotten into you?!" She pleaded. She could see memories of Slade, of the first time Robin had become his apprentice, of the first time he had attacked the titans, under Slade's forceful ways. "Let me help you." Raven could see the memories of now, and what disturbed her was... it was different than it was from before. This time, he had willingly joined as Slade's apprentice. Actually, memories flashed that showed Robin had never stopped being Slade's apprentice, from the very first time.

She could feel her heart sink.

"I don't need your help." Robin was furious. Raven was trying to stay stable, as Robin's memories of every moment the two spent together flashed before her eyes. Their first kiss, all the times he comforted her, re-assured her how much of a good person she was, that she was far from evil. "I wanted to do this all this." Now, he sounded just like Terra. She could see through his eyes, as he and Terra fought, and their voices were in sync.

Robin had known all along that Terra had been trained by Slade. In fact, memories showed that he helped train Terra. The fight, however, Robin had to play the part of pre-tending to fight Terra, but other memories also showed that he had helped her take down the rest of the team.

"And you know what else I want, Raven?" She was in shock of how cold his voice was. He never used this type of tone with her-he was always so gentle, and kind. He was re-assuring. He made her feel comforted, welcomed, and loved, above all things.

"What?" She managed to spit out, her voice hardly audible.

"I want you out of my mind, and I want you dead!"

She felt her soul being sucked out of Robin's mind, as he pushed her off of him, sending her tumbling to the ground opposite of her. He marched over to her, until he was standing directly above her, with a sickening smile on his face. A single tear rolled down her cheek, as she muttered out a single syllable,

"Why?"

He crouched down, so they were eye level, and grabbed at her cloak, bringing her closer to his face. She froze, feeling his cold breathe amongst her skin. His touch was no longer gentle, but furious, and she could tell by this grip by what he was saying, was the very truth. "Wouldn't you like to know, dear Raven," he taunted, leaning in closer, so their lips brushed against each other. His lips were no longer warm against hers-the more she stared up into his angered masked eyes, she could tell this was no longer Robin. It was as if he were possessed, as if this was Slade right here, ready to kill her off.

"After all we've been through, Robin?" She tried again, reaching up to touch his face. Maybe if she could get physical contact, it could break the spell-but he smacked her hands away. She recoiled slightly. "Just let me know, what happened? Why won't you let me help you?"

"Why?" He raised an eyebrow, and a sick grin came to his face. "Because I hate you, Raven. I always have." She froze. All of those times he had told her he loved her-she scrunched her eyebrows together, ready to attack, but he grabbed at her wrist with a tight grip. "And now, you can say goodbye-"

"No!" The last thing Raven saw before she woke up, was Robin's cruel smile, looming over her, and the head cannon attached to his suit aimed at her, ready to finish her.

She launched up into a sitting position, breaking out into a cold sweat as she tried to catch her breathe. "Raven?!" Next to her, Robin gasped as he woke up, and upon looking over to him in a panic, Raven almost screamed again, as she fell out of bed. "Y-you...!" Still feeling as if she was in a dream, she scooted away from him in a hurry.

The room was dark, and quiet, safe for the sounds of Raven's rasping gasps of breathe, and she faint sound of her heart beat thumping at a fast pace in her chest. Raven looked up to him, who was still on the bed, and squeezed her eyes shut, ready for him to just up and kill her right then.

He didn't, however. He looked down on her, his facial expression a mixture of confusion, and worry. She opened her eyes, not feeling a blast, and saw the innocent look in his blue eyes.

Blue eyes...

She failed to notice that he was no longer masked, and was just clothed in a white t shirt and his boxers, rather than his uniform of serving Slade. She was still in panic mode, when she muttered out. "W-well? Aren't you going to kill me?"

This was when she saw the pure shock in his eyes, and he almost laughed. "Kill you?" He wondered in confusion, and hurried out of the bed, to join her on the ground. She was still breathing heavily, and to try and calm her, he wrapped an arm around her shoulder, in attempts to calm her down. She stilled, for a moment, and a smile came to his face. Raven looked over to him, and she flinched harshly, shoving him away. He recoiled, showing his hands in front of her, showing that he meant no harm. "Raven, what is going on?" And that's when the empath broke down. Noticing that he was no longer in attack mode, she dropped her head, her breathe still as she chocked on a sob, before the tears started to spill.

Robin let out a sigh, and hesitantly, put his arm around her again. She did nothing to deny his touch, but she was till tense and stiff. Gently, Robin pulled her closer to his body, and he could feel her melt into his touch, if only a little. "Now, do you mind telling me what happened?" He asked, as the two sat there, and he held her.

"I-You-" She chocked out, and in attempts to comfort her, he brushed some hair out of her face, tucking it behind her ear. He could see the tear spilling against her tear stained face, as her eyes squeezed shut. He put his hand against her cheek, gently brushing away the tears, and leaned his head against hers. "A nightmare?" He guessed, pressing his lips against her temple in attempts to calm her.

It had worked. She wasn't crying as harshly as she had been moments ago, but her shoulders still shook with fear.

Raven nodded.

Robin let out a sigh. Raven almost always had nightmares-most specifically about her father, but she managed to shake those off. He was gone, he was dealt with. No, this one was more. she rarely, if ever cried about a dream, to to see her in this state of panic made him able to identify the fact it was something more.

And it had something to do with him, as she had choked out, 'you'.

"You..." Raven tried again, able to talk for the most part, though her voice was still shaky. She let out a sigh, leaning against Robin to try and ease away the fright. 'You were... working for Slade. And... you killed us-S-Starfire, Cyborg... all of us. And... I was the only one left. You... and I fought, and as I tried to get you to stop... you said you hated me. And-and that, you wanted me dead." She said the last part softly, her eyes squeezing tight again, as tears threatened to spill.

Robin's hand remained on her cheek, thumb gently rubbing in comfort. He pressed her lips against his temple again, before he gave a soft shake of the head. "Oh, Raven," He sighed out, and he could feel her grab onto his arm for support, clutching onto them for dear life.

"P-please don't tell me it's true..." She whispered out a plead.

He shook his head again, and smiled softly. "Far from it. You know I would never-he's caused us too much pain and anguish. Why would I ever want to work with someone like that again?" He paused. "Before was a mistake. A great mistake I will never make again."

Raven was quiet against him, but she listened. And she knew he was right. Still, that didn't mean her dream scared her any less. After all they had been through, her worst fear had became loosing Robin. He made her feel important, and he had once swore that he was going to protect her, no matter what. How could he do that, when working with Slade, working against her, though?

"And you know I don't hate you. I never could. And I would never want to hurt you. You know that, Raven. Right?" he sounded unsure then, and as Raven looked up, he could see the desperation in his eyes. She smiled, and nodded then, feeling safe as ever in his arms. He smiled back to her. "Good." Robin leaned his head against Raven's, as he nuzzled her in comfort, swaying her back and forth in his arms, gently, like a baby. "I love you, Raven. Nothing could ever change that." He re-assured.

Raven felt herself smiling, as her worries slipped away from her. "I... love you too, Robin."

She could feel him hum against her. "I'm glad. Now, let's get you back to bed." He offered, and wrapped one arm under her legs, as his other was already around her torso-and lifted her carefully, taking her back to her bed, setting her down. She watched him, as he gingerly scooted into the bed next to her, and he pulled her close to him again.

"You won't leave, right?" She hated to sound this desperate. She could feel her cheeks growing red at sounding so needy, but in all honesty, after a dream like that, she wanted all the comfort she could get.

He nodded, placing one hand over hers, toying affectionately with her fingers. "I promise." He whispered, leaning over to place a kiss against her forehead.

She glanced away. "I...I'm sorry for sounding so needy-" "Don't be." He cut her off, and she looked up to him in curiosity. He laughed a little. "I'm here to protect you. I always will be."

Feeling the warmth grow in her cheeks, she rested her head further into her pillow, allowing herself to become comfortable. She trusted Robin-with everything. So when he said that he would protect her, she trusted him. Raven believed, more than ever, he would absolutely do so.

"I love you, Raven. Please don't ever forget so." Where the last words she heard before she drifted back into sleep.
