"Do you ever wonder what happens in space?" I asked, looking over at my best friend, Rocky Blue. Every night, we would lay down behind my house in the soft green grass and watch the stars. These are one of the moments I most enjoy.
Her brown waves fanned out on the ground as she looked at me. "Man CeCe," she turned her attention at the ink black sky dotted with stars. "I don't know. Maybe martians?"
A smile slipped on my face and I sat up. My red straight strands fell over my shoulders as I did so and I brought my knees to my chest. "I wanna know what's out there."
Rocky rose beside me and she looked at me for a while. "Me too."
I looked around, suddenly feeling chilly. The hairs on my arms rose and I shivered. "I think it's time we get back inside." I mumbled irritably - I didn't want to leave, I didn't want Rocky to go home.
The brunette frowned, and stood up. She extended her arms out to me and I took her hand. Rocky had always been taller than me, in fact, I reached her nose. Amber eyes met brown ones and I literally felt my heart stop. I brushed it off and averted my eyes. "Let's not go yet."
I pursed my lips. "then where?"
Rocky smirked at me, and held out her hand again. I took it and she ran.

"What is this place?" I asked in awe.
A large pond was the base of the area, ducks swam around in it in peace. Trees secluded the place from the outside world and healthy looking grass sprouted from the ground. It was just...peaceful.
I looked over at a proud Rocky who seemed to be staring at me. I blushed softly - I wasn't one for attention. "So, do you like it?" She asked quietly.
"Do I like it?" I asked incredulously as I approached her. "I love it."
She visibly relaxed as she rested her hands on my hips. The light from the moon glistened against the lake and time seemed as if it had slowed down. She bent her head and her lips captured mine.
The sun, the moon, fire and ice collided inside of me as her tongue mingled with mine. I wrapped my arms around her neck, drawing her closer and her body went flush against mine. What an amazing kiss.
"Whoa," I whispered as we pulled away and my eyes fluttered open.
She chuckled softly and it was music to my ears. My arms tightened around her neck as she pressed her lips against mine once more. "Remember your question earlier?" She questioned.

I nodded.
"Well, I don't know what happens, but when the sun sets, I see stars in your eyes."
