Maybe it want happen today! Thats what Tru Davies thinks every morning when she gets up
each morning. Tru had recently found out almost a year ago that she had a gift to rewind the day to
save someone from dying. It was a wonderful thing to know that you, out of everyone in the world,
could save someone else from dying, but there were a lot of bad things that came along with this
calling. First of all, she had wake up every morning and wonder if she would soon be reliving the
same day and she couldn't get into any serious relationships without worrying if they would find out
her secret or not. Well, she does have her brother Harrison, who found out about her gift not long
after she found about it herself, he is a gambler always looking for ways to win bets. Then, she has
Davis, a very strange but sweet guy who helps her through her callings. He found about her calling
by himself because he knew her mother had it and he recognized some signs. Each day when she
has a calling she wonders if she can or can't save that person's life. But what if she has to save
several lives in just one day? Can Tru handle it or will she lose everyone? I guess we'll see!!!
Chapter 1:
"So, what do we have Davis?" asked Tru.
"Good evening to you to." replied Davis.
"Sorry, good morning." laughed Tru.
"Well, no dead bodies so far," said Davis. Just as he finished his sentence a tall guy pushed open the morgue doors and rolled the stretcher in.
"Got a young women, found her outside in the alley around Fifth St." said the guy.
"What happed to her?" asked Tru
"She had three stab wounds in the chest." replied the guy. "Some little kid found her while he was heading home."
"Poor women and poor kid." said Davis.
When the guy left Tru just knew that she was about to start that day over again.
"Look for as many clues you can just in case she does ask for your help." said Davis.
"She's got a butterfly tattoo on her left hand." said Tru.
She pulled a piece of paper out of the women's pocket.
It read:
Call me please as soon as you get this! Please hurry he's not backing off. I don't know what to do anymore!
It was signed Matti.
There was also a little change purse in her jacket pocket.
"Well, her name was Natalie Jones." said Tru. "She worked at the right down the road."
"How do you know?" asked Davis.
"She left her name tag in her pocket." said Tru.
Right as she was putting the name tag down the women looked at Tru and said to her "Help me, Tru."
