Many years ago there was a clan that had the power to channel the power of spirits through their shadows. To gain this power the clan members had to swallow a light sphere. If they pass the test their shadows change to that of their spirit guardian. But sadly this clan was all but wiped out, the surviving members had no way to access the power to recreate the light spheres so the turned to a new mode of power, seals. They are the clan that brought seals into the ninja arts.
(years later)(October 10)
"Hold out for the Fourth!" shouted a random ninja.
On this night a great spirit beast known to the world as the Kyuubi no Kitsune was attacking the Village Hidden in the Leaves. The great beast was known as the Guardian of Fire Country but was for reasons unknown now attacking its citizens. The battle raged on until a man in a white coat with red and orange flames at the base of the coat and the edge of the sleeves appeared on a giant toad and with a bright flash the great beast disappeared and the man fell dead. In an undisclosed room a newborn blond child with a spiral on his stomach and whisker marks on his cheeks cried as his shadow shifted then settled.
