'Why am I doing this? It's got to stop.' He held his hand up to his face, watching the blood that so well matched his eyes dribble down his arm.

He stood to the ground and looked out the window. "Kai, you're doing it again, aren't you?" Rei sighed and walked to the window. "I...can't stop."

"Kai I can't help you if you don't try." He put his hands on Kai's shoulders. "I know, I know. But I've done it for so long..."

Find something to replace it. Something that you like. "Like what?" Kai turned around. "My kiss." Rei roughly kissed him on his lips. "Don't you ever forget that I'm here for you, Kai"

"I won't. Kai smiled. "Good. Now get some rest." Rei left the room. 'If only it was that easy.'

Kai watched the rain fall and sang," Frozen inside without your touch, without your love. Darling, only you are the life among the dead." He collapsed to the ground as a tear rolled down his face. Quickly he picked the knife that was a second ago forgotten. "I...can't stop!" He slashed his chest and arms, not caring who heard him. Rei ran back to the room. "Kai, STOP!" He grabbed Kai's hand that contained the knife.
'All this time I can't believe I couldn't see, kept in the dark, but you were there in front of me.'
"Kai, listen. Stop doing this to yourself. Stop doing this to me..." Rei untied his hair wrap and started soaking up the blood from Kai's wounds with his hair. "I'm so sorry, Rei."
' I've been sleeping a thousand years it seems, got to open my eyes to everything.'
"I can't do it, Rei. I can't take it anymore." Kai jugged him. "Yes you can. I know you can." He hugged back. "Don't let me die..."
'Without a thought, without a voice, without a soul.
Don't let me die here, there must be something more.

"Never. I'm here for you. I love you." Rei began to sob. "I love you too. Don't leave." Kai wiped the tears from his eyes. "How could I? Come on, Kai. I'll help you if you through it. We'll help you together." Kai looked at him. "Bring me to life..."
