DETENTION
As Dani was sitting in class, she kept feeling her head bobbing back and forth and her eyes closing. Then she heard the teacher say, "Time for a movie." Yes finally Dani thought. As the movie started she felt her eyes shutting. While asleep Dani started to dreaming that she was in a big building and then she felt a bright light blind her and then as she looked, she saw a little girl on an operating table. Before she was able to get any closer, she felt an arm shaking her and she looked up at an angry face and a detention slip. Dani thought ugh mom and dad are going to kill me. After class Dani's friend Emily caught up to her and said," Late night apple hunting?" (AN: Apple is their word for ghost) "Yeah Danny usually helps, but he's been Apple sick." "Well, least you only have 15 minutes of detention this time." "Yeah." Dani said as she was closing her locker.
After Dani finished detention she went home quickly, knowing her adopted parents were going to be really mad at her. Once she got home, she raced to Danny's room to check on him. Once Dani got to Danny's room, she saw him reading a comic and book and Dani said, "Am I interrupting?" "Dani! You scared me! Did you have another detention?" Danny asked his little adopted sister. "Yes I..." "Danielle Fenton! Get down here right now!" Maddie yelled "Ugh sorry Danny." Dani said. As Dani started to slowly walk down the stairs she could hear her adopted parents yelling. Jack said," Maddie,calm down, she's just getting used to school." "Jack! She's been here for 3 months and she's been going to school for 2 months." Maddie yelled. Once Dani got downstairs, she saw a very annoyed Maddie and a very calm Jack. "Danielle Fenton, we just heard from the principal that you got another detention! That's the 3rd one this week! What do you have to say about that?" "UM... I'm sorry?" "Daniel Fenton! You know that only works on your father!" Maddie said. Just as Dani was about to rebuttal, a little blue wisp came out and Dani knew what she had to do. "Mom, you're right, I know I need to pay attention. You guys really care about my education and I should take every chance I get. "Dani, I couldn't agree with you more. Now go upstairs and do your homework."
Finally, I can go investigate! Dani tought. As Dani went ghost, Danny walked in and said, "I'm going to help you. I have a bad feeling about this ghost attack." Danny said with a worried look. "Fine, if you get tired just leave. Okay?" "Okay." Danny said.
