I don't know anything, this is the way it has always been. Me just floating around in nothingness, sometimes I would feel a pull to go, go where I don't know just that it's something new. But I stay here, why? Because I feel that there is still something I need to do before moving on, someone I need to save. So I search for that someone.
I don't know how long I've been here, nut now I am leaving. I have finally found what or who I was looking for, I break through the barrier surrounding the world where she dwells, I fell my body being reformed, that is strange I never knew I had a body. My mind begins to awaken and I'm losing the time in the nothingness, but that does not matter any more. I will help whoever I can and once I've helped her I will move forward.
I don't remember who I am and where I am. I am laying on the ground wearing a black school uniform.
"Are you awake?" a voice asks. I quickly sit up.
She is wearing a school uniform as well and aiming a sniper rifle towards the sports field, her appearance makes it hard to focus on some fundamental things like who I am and where I am. She is not who I came for.
"You..." I begin before she interrupts me.
"Welcome to the like I'm-dead-battlefront." She says with a smile.

When Otonashi died he did not go directly to the world. Instead Kanade had time to die and then spend some (probably a lot) of time in the world. This one version of what could have happened.
