Nancy had just gotten inside the door of her new apartment when the phone rang. Nancy sighed as she hung up her coat on the fourth ring Nancy picked up the phone. "Hello?" Nancy waited when the person didn't say anything. "Hello?" This time a voice said "Mrs. Drew, I think that you would be perfect for a little project of ours."
"What Project?" Nancy was confused. But she quickly got over it as she remembered the voice on the other end of the phone. "Kinsmen?"
There was an evil laugh on the other end of the line. "You remember me. How touching. We'll I'm glad you will be our special project."
"I'm calling the police." Nancy said and went to hang up but stopped when Kinsman said "Wait…. You have nothing to call the police for. I'm just making a simple phone call. I haven't done anything. You cannot make a police phone call unless I have done something illegal." After that he gave that same evil laugh he did earlier. Nancy hung up the phone and called Frank.
"Nancy what is it?" Frank asked. Nancy explained the phone call and begged Frank to get over as fast as he could, although she knew he would. In a few minutes the doorbell rang and Nancy ran to the door. The second before she opened the door she looked through the peep hole and saw Frank there, and right behind him was Joe.
Nancy quickly opened the door and dragged the boys inside then shut and locked the door. Nancy went to the kitchen and got three glasses out of the cabinet. Frank and Joe followed her in the kitchen and watched her get three glasses of water for them.
"Nancy, I think it is time for you to tell us what happened with this Kinsman?" Nancy had never told the about what he had done to her when he had kidnapped her. Nancy sighed and opened her mouth to talk but there was a loud rap on the door.
Frank put his finger to his lips and whispered to them to stay in the kitchen. Nancy and Joe watched as Frank looked out the peep hole. He slowly walked back to the kitchen when there was another rap on the door.
Frank silently signaled for the three of them to go up to the roof when they heard someone turn the doorknob. Nancy quietly went up to the roof and looked back to see Frank and Joe go back to the kitchen to clean up and make it look like no one was there. Nancy was looking for a place to hide when she saw Kinsman. For a second there eyes met and held. Nancy turned to run back down to Frank and Joe but she ran into a body.
The man held a gun to Nancy's head when someone from behind (Nancy thinks it's Kinsman) gags her. Nancy tries to punch the man holding her but the man pushed the gun farther into her head and told her not to move.
Nancy heard the door to the house opened and saw Frank and Joe look around a few seconds before 2 more men came and tied them up. While someone started tying her hands Nancy watched as Kinsman walked and whisper something into Frank's ears. Frank's face went white.
