Sakura was a bit lost at the festival, to say the least. Her mind was wandering, and she wondered where everyone else was. She exhaled a little too forcefully in frustration, and stared at the ground. In her distraction, she bumped into someone.

"Oh! I'm so sorry, please forgive me, I wasn't paying attention." Sakura's face was burning with shame, and the tall man in front of her turned around. Once she saw who it was, she was even more agitated. Nozaki peered down at her, and appeared confused.

"Sakura? Is that you?" Now Sakura was the one confused. Why would it not be her? Was she unrecognizable outside of her uniform? Was it her different hairstyle? He saw her bewilderment, and laughed, a sound that made her heart flutter. She had never heard Nozaki laugh before, and her cheeks blazed. The seductive rumble of his laughter had made her fall even more in love with him.

She sighed, this time, not out of frustration. "I'm just kidding Sakura, I could recognize you in any form. I was just surprised by your new hairstyle." She smiled, and took a good look at Nozaki, craning her head. The young man wore his usual uniform. She did admit to herself that while his usual outfit suited him, it would be nice to see him in something else.

"Do you mind if I walk with you? I don't know where the others are." She snapped out of her reverie.

"Not at all. I appreciate the company." Her visage practically glowed at the rare chance to be alone with the boy she liked so much. After checking out a few booths, Sakura's hunger got the better of her, and she walked up to a stand selling candy apples. "One candy apple, please. " She glanced at Nozaki. "Do you want anything?" He shook his head. "Just the one then." They exchanged, and she started walking again.

"I changed my mind. Can we go back? I'm hungry." Sakura scratched her head awkwardly. She had used all of her money on the apple.

"You can take a bite of mine," she said jokingly, holding the stick up. He bent down, and bit into the treat. She was sure her face was so red that it had caught fire, and she remained silent, staring at the apple.

Nozaki's fingers brushed hers. "Can we go somewhere?" Even the small amount of physical interaction with Nozaki made Sakura's heart pound furiously.

"S-S-Sure." He grabbed her hand (and Sakura thought she would faint), and ran towards an empty hill. "What are we–" Her sentence got cut off as fireworks went off, a beautiful array of colors that she hadn't even known existed. "It's beautiful."

"So are you." Sakura sat, dumbfounded. Nozaki smiled lovingly at her. He tilted her head up with a calloused, cold hand, and gently placed a kiss on her forehead. Even after the show had ended, Sakura could feel fireworks going off in her brain.

Then, she woke up.
