Her soft hair falls upon her shoulders
Her dark eyes light up with her smile
The way she moves, so agile.
She breathes and has a heartbeat
She sleeps at night and can find true delight
She eats human food, as opposed to human blood
Should he take the chance?
He thinks he just might.
Her skin is so warm
Fire under his fingertips as he brushes away a strand of hair
Her skin is so soft
Silky under his fingertips.
She's alive and kind
The way a soul with her face was meant to be
She cares for him
This time, it's not just compulsion.
This is his second chance
His last chance
He won't blow it
He will make the most of it.
