Switzerland tilted his head to one side as the wind brought the sounds of battle up to him. He sat on a ridge overlooking a giant plain. Below multiple nations had come together in an enormous battle. America, England, Germany, Japan and others fought on one side. With Russia, China, Lithuania, and Russia's other subordinates on the other.

Their people rushed towards each other in great waves. They flashed their weapons; the ground was stained red.

If Switzerland looked closely he could see the wounds appearing on the nations' bodies as their people fell. The weapons they wielded did no permanent damage to each other, those wounds healed.

Switzerland looked down from the horrifying scene of war at his gun. It sat in his lap. He gently brushed it with his fingertips. From this position it would be call to easy to snipe them all. Then the battle would be over. But he had vowed that he would stay neutral, just like he had in every other war.

He believed all other countries were idiots. They let small arguments escalate into huge ordeals that ended with all involved losing thousands of their people and falling into economic disaster.

He started as that thought entered his mind, his hand stopped mid-stroke. That thought brought to mind his first meeting with his sister. She had been near to death, all because of war. She was just another reason for him to never enter a war. He could never stand to see her like that again.

He let his mind wander and saw Liechtenstein as she was when he left the house.

She looked so vulnerable asleep. Her short blonde hair fell into her slightly chubby face. Switzerland froze as a small shiver passed through her body. He immediately rushed to her side and pulled her covers up to her chin. Switzerland's eyes wandered to her bedside table where he saw the blue ribbon that he had bought her. A smile graced his lips as he tip-toed out of Liechtenstein's room. The last thing he needed was to have her wake up and try and follow him.

Switzerland sighed and looked down at the battle once more. 'Idiots' he thought. Then he got up, shouldered his gun, and headed home.

Kage: This also inspired a little drabble about Liechtenstein, I'll post that in a few days. And to all the people who read Demon Peril: I am working on the next chapter! It will be updated soon!

Sunero: *cough* Sure it will.

Kage: Oh be quiet!

Later! Kage out!
