Firewing's Destiny

This is my response to the Warrior named Fireheart. I thought it would be interesting to change some aspects of book 2 of the first series. Reading Warriors makes me feel creative.

Firewing's Destiny

Chapter 1

The Apprentice

That night Duststar made the apprentice speech to Dartpaw: ''Will you protect the clan Earthclan?'' I will.'' Dartpaw spoke, '' you will now be Darttail Mews of Excitement. Firewing was very happy that his best apprentice had become a clan warrior, he congratulated him, and then they went to sleep. After that he was in this misty forest and there was a mystical cat of Wathclan 5. The cat said, ''You will be the leader of the clan, but you will kill Duststar."

He woke up the next morning when his Clan-mates and Tartfoot came in the den. She told him that the hunting patrol had been waiting for ten minutes then he got out and the leader of the patrol, Deputy Batstorm, yelled: ''WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG?!'' "I slept in.'' "So lets get a move on.'' He sleepily walked. When he got in shape he went into a hunter's crouch, and then he snuck up and caught a wood pigeon. He brought it back to the fresh kill pile. Then he went and greeted Yellowheart, his mate. She rubbed his muzzle: ''Did you have a dream?'' No I did not,'' he lied.

While they were hunting a DarkClan cat, Hellpaw, came out with the DarkClan leader, Shadowstar, who spoke:'' You stole our prey!'' "No we did not'' he yelled. Why did you bring a helpless apprentice!?'' "He said he saw a Earthclan warrior steal a frog!'' "Liar!'' Batstorm opened his claws, and then behind the leader was a whole patrol. ''So, now you are the ones out numbered.''
